“Oprah gives away books- we give away booze,” Bartholet proudly announced. “Reach under your seat. There’s a bottle of Crown.” Amore didn’t reach under her seat because Bartholet was obviously having his way with her. In any event, Amore said it would take a full bottle to get her plastered.

Bartholet was also curious how Olivia O’Lovely was doing. Amore refers to O’Lovely as her “wifey” because they party a lot together and, from the sounds of it, have shared the mysteries of the areola on professional and personal occasions.

“I love her,” said Amore, noting that under her last contract O’Lovely was brought in for scenes as often as possible.

“And now we try to do a lot of scenes for our websites,” adds Amore. From the sounds of it, Amore didn’t have much luck with former webmasters [she claims her content was stolen and sold to Vivid.com]. But Amore is high on Bill Fox who built her new site, www.clubalexisamore.com.

“It’s not easy to do an adult website,” Amore goes on to say. “You’ve got to put a lot of effort into it.” And because she has a certain reputation, Amore says her fans expect balls out fucking when they come to her web address.

“I can’t get by as a bikini girl,” she laughs. Alhough Amore showed a clip from one of her latest movies which shows the limits a flourescent bikini can be tested. Amore accomplishes a threeway with O’Lovely and Jenaveve Jolie- a scene that begins with them sunning by a pool. The movie’s titled No Man’s Land: Latin Edition 8. According to Amore, the BTS is particularly hilarious.

Lately Bartholet has been picking up on the discussions why DVD sales are down. Not that it would have a direct correlation, but Amore is of the opinion that the industry is overpopulated with female performers right now.

If nothing else, Bartholet said Amore could convey a lot of insight to the new girls because she has a keen business mind.

“It’s up to the girl to take control of her career,” states Amore. “You’ve got to make this a business.”

But Amore also concedes that girls beginning in the industry generally know very little and get talked into things. In her case, she didn’t do anal off the bat.

“I paced myself.” Also in her case, Amore went through several cosmetic changes- including different hair color, etc.

“Porn likes a transition of looks,” she comments. Amore also suggested that girls work hard to build a fan base; and, if it makes sense, retain a publicist.

“That makes a whole lot of difference,” she said. Amore also cautioned about getting involved with unscrupulous party promoters. She has a situation now where she’s suing a promoter who liberally used her name and image without consent. Asked if she normally gets compensated in these deals to show up, Amore states, “You better believe it.”

Bartholet notes instances where performers get a bottle of booze and call it a night.

“That’s not compensation,” he said.

Amore has also been featuring over five years and stresses eye contact and interaction with the fans.

“Be tasteful and smile,” she advised. In one of her many aspects of self-promotion, Amore features her own calendar.

Besides performing in adult, Amore has had stints with Playboy TV as well as Telemundo. And as far as the current statis of her career, Amore said she was particularly happy with the way things were going.

“I have a great mother, an awesome boyfriend and great fans,” she said.

A caller-in named Joe was asked what he thought of Amore’s movie clip.

“Three thumbs up,” he commented.

“Want a calendar?” Amore asked him.

“I need a new one,” Joe replied.

“I don’t want to know what you did with the old one,” Amore laughs.
