Rayne, as we have told you, was apparently victimized by a company called Ebony and Ivory. Rayne, who lives in North Carolina, was contacted by the company through the Internet to do a d.p. for them in New York.

Rayne, who drove from North Carolina to the LaGuardia Marriott in New York to do the shoot, was offered $2500. She shot the scene but discovered, when she went to cash the check, that she had been given a counterfeit cashier’s check. On top of that, Rayne discovered that the HIV tests of the two guys she worked with, were also phonies. Rayne turned over the check information to NYPD and got herself tested. To her relief, she came up negative.

Attempting a spider-fly scenario, Rayne was in contract with Steve Strong of Ebony and Ivory posing as another girl who wanted to shoot with them. Rayne was all set to go with a sting operation this weekend to have NYPD nail the jerks. But, somehow, Strong aka Steve B****** caught on to her ruse but thinks she’s some other girl. Rayne said she got a cryptic email from him saying, “Game Over.”

Meanwhile, Rayne has learned that another girl is ready to shoot with the company tomorrow. She has the girl’s name and where she’ll be staying; but, other than that, all she can do is attempt to call the girl and try to head her off at the pass.

I spoke with Rayne this afternoon. She tells me that a company called Global Intermedia is the parent company of Ebony and Ivory. It’s owned by some guy named Mark. It’s Rayne’s understanding that the girl whose name is R***** L** Q******* is supposed to check in tomorrow.

But Rayne doesn’t know how to get a hold of her other than to call the Marriott. Rayne said she managed to get that information through Travelocity.

“I’m going to call this girl and tell her that her life depends on calling me,” says Rayne. “I can’t drive my ass into New York and physically save her.” Rayne said, regardless of the outcome tomorrow, she has a case against these guys. “But I want to protect this girl from getting screwed. Thank God I came out fine because their HIV papers were fraudulent. But the mental stress I went through for that month was insane.”

Rayne, who has a background in criminal justice, also managed to finagle Strong’s real name and home address out of Travelocity. “And he lives three blocks away from the hotel where he operates.” A cross-check with the white pages also gave Rayne, Strong’s home phone number.

According to Rayne, the manner in which she was bilked suggests that this has been done probably many times before. “He’s [Strong] one smart bastard- a master of copy/paste. I can’t imagine someone’s brain working this way. It’s amazing how much shit he pulled off.”
