VENICE, CA – Despite his storied career as one of adult’s most celebrated
male performers, Dale Dabone feels like a new man. That’s because he’s
working hard to change his image, going back to his humble roots as a gonzo performer. In a recent in-depth interview with Adult FYI’s Gene Ross, Dale talks about some of the hardships he has weathered and how they’ve taught him both humility and a new respect for the industry.
“I’m getting the word out there,” Dale extolls.
“Maybe back in the day it was total arrogance, but I’m humble. I lost everything. I was borrowing money to eat at McDonald’s. It was bad, Jack.”
This week Dabone turned in scorching gonzo hardcore scenes for Naughty
America and Hustler, shooting with infamous gonzo king Otto Bauer.
“It feels good to be starting over,” Dale continues.
“I’m grateful for all my friends and fans who’ve supported me through this dark time and optimistic about what the future holds.”
