(Chatsworth, Ca) In a shocking revelation earlier in today Sin City released news of the latest PR takeover to hit the well-established company. From all accounts it appears that DCypher, the moderator of the controversial website Hardcoregossip.com, has surreptitiously created a smut spin and media manipulation arm to his already inchoate porn takeover mechanism, Lucid Systems, and ominously dubbed it, LUCID PROPAGANDA.
” I thought it was time to take it to the next level,” chortled the bemused DCypher. ” I spend half my day entertaining myself with rewriting other people’s press releases for fun. Now I have an official reason to use my newest title, the Minister of Propaganda.”
DCypher, also known as Devan Cypher, claims he was contacted by Sin City Head Honcho, and part time villain, Scott Justice, in regards to helping the company with some upcoming promotions.
“When Scott informed me that there was a vacancy opening up in their public relations department, I jumped at the chance to fill it. I have worked in every facet with Sin City over the last six years, from production to writing features and even performing in a few. I have seen the bodies of former Head’s of Production and former PR people float down the river side by side while I drank green tea and recited ancient Chinese proverbs backwards.”
Scott Justice, who has helmed the thriving company and all of its divisions through both calm and choppy waters, had a far more somber reply to the takeover.
“I have been a fan of Devan’s writing style since day one, and appreciate the ideas that he has already brought to the table. He is more than capable and I look forward to working in conjunction with Lucid Propaganda on future projects. The fact that he brings us all coffee and donuts to work in the morning had nothing to do with the hiring process, I can assure you of that.”
Mark Snyder, who has been with the company nearly since its inception, also spoke highly of Devan Cypher.
“He brings a unique quality to the work that he does, almost like a schizophrenic, or someone who is autistic,” professed the insouciant creative director. ” There is a subtle insanity to his suggestions that leaves one wondering whether these ideas are truly reflective of a sort of brilliance or the first signs of a complete mental breakdown. Either way, it should be entertaining as all hell to watch.”
When asked about what sorts of promotions were intended for the company, DCypher replied enthusiastically.
“I can’t give away all the details, because that would ruin the surprise of it all, but I can say this, what I have planned is going to make Evil Knievel jumping the Grand Canyon with a rocket strapped to his ass look like a bad stunt at the Coney Island Methadone Clinic Amateur Talent Show.”
When asked to elucidate his extraordinary claim, he patently refused, proscribing his reluctance to comment on fear of being “bamboozled” out of the idea. He was eager, however, to discuss his tumescent excitement with the newly acquired post of Minister of Propaganda.
“Given the amount of exciting promotions coming up in the near future, as well as the amazing contract girls Aurora Snow, Hannah Harper, and Shay Sweet, that are currently with Sin City, I have every confidence that I can affect positive changes for the company. I can’t wait,” crowed DCypher.
Only time will tell what the outcome may be for Sin City at the mercy of a company calling itself Lucid Propaganda, but for now, Devan Cypher warns the world to be prepared for a full frontal assault of hyperbole.
“There is going to be shenanigans and tomfoolery and ballyhoo,” Cypher frankly foretold. ” A whole lot of ballyhoo.”
