Yep. Looks like Hugh Hefner is going to borrow a page from a publication that is actually worth reading. Nah. I’m not a fan of Hugh. To me, he’s just Larry Flynt without the wheelchair, opting for pipe vs. cigar. However, if you’re interested in a rare opportunity to visit the Playboy mansion:

Seriously, for the December issue–which hits newsstands today, Hef is tossing 10 tickets into the issue of Playboy as a special invitation to the annual Midsummer Night’s Dream Party at the mansion. Regardless of my personal feelings, this is quite a stroke of marketing genius. I’ve often asked myself why Sports Illustrated hasn’t done this for huge sporting events, and travel magazines haven’t done this for stellar vacations?
Wanna increase revenue during tough economic times? Offer the people an opportunity that they’ll never have conventionally. It’s like a lottery ticket with substance between the pages… or in this case, naked chicks, talented writing (legitimately, I give props where deserved) and some Photoshop work.
