Salt Lake City- Crazy Goat Saloon owner Daniel Darger has heeded the call of Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. to reach out to Hurricane Katrina victims. Darger has offered jobs to displaced strippers from New Orleans.
“Exotic dancers need work, too,” says Darger, whose semi-nude strip club in downtown Salt Lake City has attracted lawsuits from the LDS Church.
“There are a number of them from the French Quarter in New Orleans who have been displaced.”
Darger got the names of New Orleans strip clubs from industry magazines and called to get the names of strippers out of work because of Katrina.
