from www.myfoxphilly.com – Kendra Wilkinson appeared with Hank Baskett and her in-laws this weekend after news of her sex tape hit the media. The tape becomes public today.
The Web site Life & Style says Wilkinson, her mother, Baskett and her parents were all at a charity event run by Baskett, a Philadelphia Eagles receiver, in New Mexico last weekend.
And all appeared well among the relatives.
In a previous statement, Baskett’s father said the family supports Wilkinson.
“I will always stand by Hank and Kendra. Kendra is a great mom. You know, she’s awesome and she loves her family and that’s all that matters,” said Hank Baskett Jr.
Radar also said on Wednesday that Hank Baskett III is standing by his wife.
A source told Radar that the sex tape has not adversely affected their marriage. “This happened when she was young. He already knew about this. She told him about this before they got married,” the friend told Radar.
Wilkinson reportedly stands to make millions of dollars after she reached a deal with Vivid Entertainment, which Radar Online said bought the tape for $100,000 from Wilkinson’s former boyfriend.
Radar says Vivid Entertainment and Wilkinson will share the proceeds from tape and DVD sales.
The head of Vivid told Life & Style magazine recently said that Wilkinson would make at least $3 million if she got 20 percent of sales.
There were reports her cut could be 50 percent of the profits.
In 2007, Kim Kardashian reportedly received $5 million from Vivid as part of a settlement over a tape that featured her and singer Ray J.
There has been no comment from Wilkinson, Baskett or E!, which produces the hit cable TV show “Kendra.”
But there were reports in early May that Wilkinson will discuss the video at the end of the current season of “Kendra.”
The artwork for “Kendra Exposed” shows Wilkinson at a recent publicity appearance along with some R-rated screen captures from the tape. The DVD also promises a “bonus Celebrity disc.”
It also promotes Wilkinson as the star of “The Girls Next Door” and “Kendra!”
Wilkinson and Baskett married last year and have a young son.
Before her marriage to Baskett, Wilkinson was one of Playboy’s “Girls Next Door” and she had posed nude for Playboy magazine.
