Porn king Steve Crow is promising to perk up Auckland politics, by forming a new party to contest this year’s local body elections.

Steve Crow will reveal details of a new political party, which he is calling aucklandone-dot-com.

He believes the Auckland Region can be better served with a single mayor and executive.

He says he is more daunted than excited by the venture, which he says has involved a huge amount of personal sacrifice.

Steve Crow says the new party offers the best chance to fix a very broken Auckland city and its administration.

He is convinced his profile as the figurehead of the adult entertainment culture will not prevent him being taken seriously.

He says the business he is in now is totally irrelevant to what he does in the future.

Crow says the full party line-up will be announced in Auckland this Sunday.
