Price, who hails from Massachusetts, is married to Barrett Blade and got in the business through Jesse Jane whom she met while doing Hawaiian Tropic. Price, who mentions that she’d like to follow in Jane’s footsteps, came out to Los Angeles to visit Jane and decided to stay. According to Price, it was far from love at first sight when she met Blade. “We actually hated each other first,” she laughs. Price explains that Blade took her for being a money whore because she was dating someone rich at the time.

“He [Blade] got over it,” she says. Price and Blade were married last October, and Price started her adult career the following month. She shot her first scene on her birthday. Asked the inevitable question about porn relationships, Price describes herself as a non-jealous person and knew what Blade did for a living from the get-go. “I never wanted to change him,” Price says. “Like it or not, you’re not going to change a person. That will just mess up the relationship.”

According to Price, Blade wasn’t too keen on the notion of her performing in porn because people would invariably get the idea that he forced the issue. Price said it was all her idea and that’s why she waited until they got married to do so.Price, by choice, works exclusively with Blade whereas Blade works with other girls. “I could work with other guys,” she says. “I just don’t want to.”

According to Price, she once worked under the name JJ Holly in the softcore industry but changed her name when someone stole it and put up a website under the name, www.jjholly.com.

Besides Jesse Jane, Price hangs out a lot with Jenna Haze. “Most girls are flakey and are constantly in competition mode,” says Price, stating her reasons for why she’s inclinded to keep a small circle of friends. Observing that there are a number of women in the industry who tend to get trashed on alcohol, Price said she’s not trying to be one of those girls. “I want to prolong my career,” she says. “Doing that [drinking] makes you start to look really old really quick. It’s really bad for your skin! This is a career that’s based on your looks so why ruin it?”

Price, who used to be a go-go dancer in New York and a cocktail waitress at Scores, is also considering feature dancing but wants to wait until she gets her name out there a little more.

Growing up I was a tapdancer, cheerleader, I danced ballet and jazz. I pretty much danced throughout my life,” she says.
