from www.haysfreepress.com – Adult film star Janine Marie James, the ex-wife of reality TV star Jesse James, was arrested Saturday on three outstanding harassment warrants in Hays County, authorities said.

James, 42, also known as Janine Lindemulder, was taken into custody by the Hays County Sheriff’s Office around 9 a.m. Saturday on three Class B misdemeanor charges. She was released from Hays County Jail the next day on bonds worth $6,000, court records show.

According to legal documents obtained by the celebrity blog, TMZ.com, Janine left Jesse a series of “abusive” phone messages.

Jesse claims in the documents that Janine places “chronic harassing telephone calls to him all hours of the day and night” and he has received 300 calls from her since he moved to Texas. Jesse also says the calls became “so harassing, abusive and bad” that he turned over several messages to the Austin Police Department.

Janine’s attorney told TMZ that she made the phone calls “out of frustration because he did not let her see or speak to her daughter for months.”

Jesse James, founder of West Coast Choppers and former husband of actress Sandra Bullock, married Janine in 2002 and both had a daughter, who Jesse was awarded custody to following their divorce in October 2003.

Janine, of Cottage Grove, Ore., who is best known for her pornographic films and Penthouse magazine modeling, was arrested in May 2003 for assaulting Jesse James prior to their divorce.

Court documents show by the time the police arrived, Janine had already hit Jesse in the back of the head with a flowerpot, and attacked him with a metal sculpture. Jesse also claimed that Janine had attempted to run him over with a vehicle in May 2003, and had punched him in the eye on February 13, 2003, according to news reports.

In August 2008, Janine pled guilty to federal misdemeanor charges of willful failure to pay federal income taxes, and was sentenced to six months in federal prison, news reports said.
