When I did my pre-convention research, I too noted she was “dead” due to the reasons cited. When confronting her about it, she said she was the same character, but obviously alive. On her website, she debunks it all as rumor, but doesn’t cite a known reason. I left it hang, as I wasn’t going to cause a ruckous. I was just looking to fill in gaps in her performer profile as is my position during the conventions.
Allegedly, “Holly Landers” died as a result of some mainstream connections, which is where our information is coming from. She’s now doing pin-up work as both a model & photographer.
