Australia- from www.qt.com.au – IPSWICH residents made up 16 per cent of the crowd at the Sexpo exhibition earlier this month – the third largest of any city or town in south-east Queensland.

Organisers said the 10th Brisbane Sexpo was their biggest yet, with more than 45,000 patrons attending the show.

It was the fastest-selling online show in Sexpo history, and general manager Rob Godwin said Ipswich residents played a big part in boosting crowd numbers.

“Compared to the Brisbane and the Gold Coast, who have significantly larger populations, Ipswich was very well represented,” he said.

“We’re extremely happy.”

He said a highlight of the show was Monica Mayhem, the porn star who featured on the billboard that was pulled own in Ipswich for being too risqué, nominating for Queensland senate pre selection.
