Adult movie director Will Ryder has piled up adult industry award nominations and trophies almost as fast as hookers attract Navy seamen during shore leave but when The Flintstones a XXX Parody recently earned twelve AVN award nominations the director was nearly speechless.
“This was the first movie I directed for New Sensations and I wanted it to be great but to see it recognized by AVN with twelve award nominations has raised a lot of eyebrows and a few skirts,” Ryder joked.
As a matter of fact, Ryder’s cell phone has been receiving text messages from gorgeous young actresses that want to be in his next movie.”
“God bless those cute little thespians,” he quipped.
“I guess this gives new meaning to the word Bedrock,” the 2010 director of the year deadpanned with an obvious reference to the town of Bedrock where the Flintstones lived.
“The Flintstones: A XXX Parody” is based on the popular cartoon from the 1960’s, which recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of its creation. The adult parody features Fred, Wilma, Barney, Betty and all the beloved characters with an adult twist. Fred begins to panic when he believes Wilma is cheating on him, though she’s actually busy planning his surprise birthday party. The lack of parental supervision allows 18-year-old Pebbles to explore her budding sexuality and play with Bam-Bam’s giant club. Even sultry secretary Miss Stone and Mr. Slate get in on the prehistoric fun.
“This is a fantastic adult movie and I really think it looks exactly like the cartoon only with real life people having sex,” Ryder joked.
“The sets, the costumes, the acting are all phenomenal and quite unique to the porn world.”
Ryder normally restricts his directorial efforts for his own company X-Play which is home to ground-breaking www.sitcums.com parodies such as Not the Bradys XXX, Not the Cosbys XXX, and the recently released Beverly Hillbillies a XXX Parody www.youtube.com/watch?v=gssw2MNWmJg which is a co-production with Adam & Eve Pictures but when he got the call from an old friend he was thrilled to take on the ambitious stone-age project.
“Scott Taylor of New Sensations asked me if I wanted to do this movie with him and of course I jumped at the chance,” Ryder offered.
“They’re like family over at New Sensations and I think that’s why Flintstones a XXX Parody is so spectacular because the Rubbles and the Flintstones are really one big happy family so this was a great project to be a part of. I really enjoy directing story-driven sex movies and when the production values match the acting and sex performances you cannot lose.”
Among the 12 AVN award nominations received by The Flintstones a XXX Parody is Best Parody-Comedy, Best Screenplay for Tyler Scott, Best Actress for Hillary Scott as Wilma, Best Supporting Actress for Brooke Lee Adams as Betty Rubble, Best Supporting Actor for Anthony Rosano as Barney Rubble, Best Art Direction, Best Editing for Gabrielle Anex, Best Make-up for Glenn Alphonso, Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene for Hayden Winters & Seth Gamble as Pebbles & Bam-Bam, Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene for Brooke Lee Adams & Hillary Scott, Best Non-Sex Performer for Peter O’Toole as Fred Flintstone and Best Director- Parody for Will Ryder.
When asked if he planned on directing another movie for New Sensations Ryder said, “You’ll have to ask Scott Taylor but I am pretty sure we could be doing something together soon.
“We both appreciate these nominations. It’s always exciting and it never gets old.”
