Porn Valley- About six months ago Sasha opened up the Remmet Studios- he’s in partnership with a mainstream photog. This month Sasha’s starting to see the fruits of his networking and his studio’s getting some consistent bookings. Sasha was also showing me some boxcover artwork. His first release for his production company Velocity X comes out in August. “And every month we’ll have three new titles,” he says. Sasha’s telling me he had never given thought about owning either a studio or a production company; much less both. It’s just something that happened.
Sasha, who speaks in a thick German accent, has been in the business about four years and came to America a year and a half ago when he attended an AEE show in Vegas. Since he’s been in the states, Sasha figures he’s shot maybe 400, 500 scenes. Before he got into porn, Sasha studied engineering for three years. “I was a consumer and watching porn- I thought it must be nice to fuck the girls for real. I saw an ad for a casting and I got my first paying job. I liked it.” Asked if he was ready immediately to toss three years of schooling in the shitter for porn, Sasha says no, that he thought about it for awhile. He dropped out of school but tried giving it a shot two years later and saw he couldn’t do it. “It was hard for me because there was a lot of math and physics and stuff. I forgot a lot.” Then, when he got his first American job, that was pretty much all for a career in engineering.
I tell Sasha I’ve always heard great things about him, that the girls and the directors love his work. “I like this- I don’t do it for the money,” he explains. “The money is good but I love this business.” Sasha will tell you great things both about Tory Lane and Sandra Romaine. “They’re amazing and always give you their best,” he says. “I like the girls who aren’t doing this for the money. They do it because they like it not because someone’s giving them a $100 more to do something.”
Asked what his first sex scene was like, Sasha says it was a gangbang for an Austrian company. “It was interesting 12 guys and six Hungarian girls. I went out late the night before and was completely hungover. I thought I couldn’t do it. I got out of the niteclub 8 in the morning and drove 500 kms. I almost threw up on Red Bull. I almost pursue the subject of lumberjack videos but think better of it. “Whatever they do, I don’t care,” he says. “I do what I like and that’s the reason I do porn.” But while we’re on the subject, I ask him if he’s ever done double anals or double vags. He has. “But you don’t think about rubbing against another cock,” he says. “For me I have no problem with it.”
As far as his private life goes, Sasha has none. “There’s a lot going on, but I usually don’t have days off.” He’s had some flings with girls in the business. “But I don’t have time to go out a lot,” he explains. “And when I do it’s with people in the industry- pretty much the same people.”
