Posted on buzzle.com in 2003: Seems divorced Irish bad boy Colin Farrell has been on a spree of “free love” since his star has skyrocketed to fame. Farrell, 26, has been seen all over the place usually with a new beauty on his arm. In a recent interview he stated that he is into casual sex and as much of it as he can get. His mother must be proud. Colin has even been dubbed “the next Charlie Sheen.” As a struggling actor Farrell married actress Amelia Warner, they divorced four months later.
Farrell who is fairly new to the Hollywood scene has been reportedly sowing his oats since his divorce from Warner. He has as of late been seen around town with Britney Spears, who dubbed the Daredevil star a “good kisser,” as well as Playmate Nicole Narain. But if rumor has it, seems Colin can’t have anyone he wants. Seems recently he ran into Gwyneth Paltrow in Hollywood and asked for her number. She politely told him she could not remember her cell phone number. Farrell persisted despite the fact that Paltrow has been dating Coldplay’s Chris Martin. Finally, Farrell backed down when Paltrow told him she was staying with a friend and she “doesn’t like me to pass on her number.”
Farrell’s ego seems to be that of a young man with a voracious appetite for sex, booze, and partying. He appeared in such films as Tigerland, American Outlaws and Hart’s War. Since his role opposite Tom Cruise in Minority Report he has been popping up everywhere – in the media and on screen. He recently starred in The Recruit, Daredevil, and the soon to be released Phone Booth. A young guy with a cocky attitude in Hollywood, hmmm…something new. Farrell is good looking and talented. Maybe fame has already gone to his head or maybe he knows that his fifteen minutes could be up at anytime and is taking huge gulps of fame as long as he stays afloat in Hollywood.
