> On her KSEX Show Monday night, Annie Cruz threw out the fact that she had once pulled a knife on her husband Jack Lawrence and almost got arrested for it. Lawrence who was co-hosting the show said Cruz was having one of her “once a month freak-outs” and was experiencing low blood sugar along with her period. “And there were some other factors combined to make it uncontrollable,” Lawence added.

Lawrence said he pinned Cruz down and she didn’t like being pinned down on the bed. “The cop in me pinned her down but one day she didn’t like it- she pulled a knife on me.” Cruz said the cops showed up and separated her and Lawrence to listen to their individual stories.

“They didn’t one of us to be lying- of course I’m going to tell the truth. I guess Jack lied and told them I pulled the knife out and put it back in immediately.” Lawrence explained that the knife was in a butcher block.

“I didn’t want her to go to jail.” Cruz said when she was questioned she told her story.

“This is what happened- I pulled the knife out; and then Jack interrupted me mid-sentence and the police office was like, excuse me sir, I’m talking to her. Please remain silent.” Lawrence noted that Cruz was in handcuffs while this is going on.

“I’m thinking to myself it’s so easy to stick her in the back of a car and take her downtown,” Lawrence, a former cop, said. “But I didn’t want to see her taken away.” Cruz said she was let off and basically it was a funny story because she’s not like that any more. “It was a very bad night for me.”

> Mr. Metro calls me Monday night informing me that the Latin sensation Gustavo Chavarria is now dating Metro salesperson Zeida. Zeida originally quit Metro but Gustavo brought her back. According to Mr. Metro, Chavarria also had the inside track on the general manager’s job at Vertigo. They were offering him $40,000 but that fell through and the job had been given to Mike Barbella instead.

“By the way,” says Mr. M, “Gustavo and Bridgette Kerkove are now at odds because Kerkove has so much dirt on him that he has to keep giving her work. Gustavo’s now talking shit openly about her. And Kerkove just turned in her 13 month-old Navigator lease which had a 39 month lease on it. She’s now driving a new Volvo SUV.”

> Fearing for his life, Dickie Brasco calls me hurriedly because the information he’s about to give me puts him in jeopardy with the Aryan Nation. It’s about Kid Vegas aka Scott Austin. Vegas who was incarcerated in Toronto has been moved over to the Niagara Detention Center. Vegas is currently wanted in Nevada to stand rape charges

“In the middle of the night they rousted him from Toronto,” Brasco tells me. “They said get up, you’re going – where am I going? Don’t worry about. They drive in the middle of the night and transfer him over. The Kid was squawking about his political asylum case which seems shot to hell, now. Canadian officials told Vegas the US had due process and it doesn’t look good for his political asylum appeal. The inside skinny is that Vegas is also earmarked by the Aryan Brotherhood. A few years back Vegas supposedly had a run-in with one of its members. Vegas reported to the cops that the guy was carrying a gun. As a result the Aryan nation guy got thrown back into jail for three years because of Vegas. Now the word is out and Vegas’ goose could be cooked.”
