ATLANTA – A professional model has sued Xcitement Magazine, which advertises that it serves “escorts, dominatrixes, bdsm, transsexuals, massage, strip clubs, porn stars, strippers, mist adult stores (sic), sex news, xxx news, Atlanta sexual resources and more,” claiming the magazine wrongfully obtained a photo of her and published it to advertise that her services were available through the magazine.
Plaintiff Mandy Williams claims photographers who took her picture for a legitimate ad for a Georgia business handed out photos to her and to co-models for their personal enjoyment. One of them provided Williams’ photo to the defendants, she claims, and they published it, claiming that Williams’ name is “Chablis” or “Sophia.” She seeks punitive damages for invasion of privacy, defamation and misappropriation, in Fulton County Court. Named as defendants are Carla Myles; Carla Collie; Jayne Collins, an individual dba VIP Referrals; Matthew Simms, an individual dba VIP Referrals; Atlanta Xcitement Inc., a Georgia corp.; Cornetta Enterprises Inc., a Georgia corp.; DVG Management Inc., a North Carolina corp.; Dale Greenwood, an individual dba AA Entertainment fka A Allusions; Peter Spirakis, an individual dba V2 Magazine; RAD Designs Inc., a corporation; and Heaven’s Moon Inc.
