When it comes to the AVN awards, was Stormy presumptuous or was she being punished to some extent for talking out of school? On the Sports Swami show a couple of weeks ago Wicked contract girl Stormy made comments about the AVN awards, proclaiming that she had a Best New Starlet nomination. And that she got, but those nominations were only announced this week. Did Stormy get some insider trading info, you might ask, or was it a lucky guess?

[Interestingly Taylor Rain’s name was removed from the Best New Starlet category after she had been all but promised by two AVN writers that she had the award wrapped up. As a consolation prize, Rain did get nominated in the Female Performer of the Year category which would be viewed as more prestigious, anyway.]

In other handicapping, Stormy had a blind man’s batting average. She also told Swami that she was getting a Best Actress nomination, which she did for Not a Romance. Then, again, she also told Swami she was getting a Best Supporting nod and that didn’t happen. And when it came to sex nominations, Stormy came up empty across the board although she did say to Swami at the time, “I have some sex nominations but I’m not really sure what they all are.”
