Nicole London of Outback Productions has a pretty busy schedule this month. On Wednesday, London and her former webmaster go before Judge Joe Brown which is, essentially, a continuance from an original court date of several weeks ago. Another case had pissed Brown off, and he was tired. And, so, London, who was the last case of the day, was asked if she didn’t mind postponing the case until this week. Brown also told London that he really wanted to be open minded to the issues since London had brought with her some staggering documentation. London took the option.
Another reason Brown encouraged a postponement is that he’s a fan of porn and wanted to devote a whole half hour to the case.
“Wow, that was cool,” said London. “Talk about advertising. They had pulled pages off the website and are going to put it on the air. You can’t get that kind of publicity.” Judge Judy was originally scheduled to hear the case but declined for personal reasons that may have to do with her stance on the porn business. Sharing the same producers, Judge Joe brown elected to pick up the case.
This week London also casts for porn girls to star in a three-day video project [December 16,17 and 18] involving rapper EA-Ski. London says she’s doing two versions involving two different casts.
By way of explanation, London says EA-Ski produces for the likes of Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Ice T and so forth. “The list goes on and on,” she says. “He’s amazing. Everyone compares him to Dr. Dre. The guy is talented beyond belief.” London says there will be a limited edition DVD and CD, and the music is all going to be in the movie. “We’re doing a hardcore and soft version. We’ve already got the distribution on this one. The boxes are going to be similar. A lot of the girls we’re casting for the mainstream version are Penthouse Pets, Playboy models and B-movie actresses. And then we’re doing the casting this week for the adult version which is going to have hardcore sex. We’re going to release that after we release the mainstream version. This is a project we’ve been working on for a long time.”
London said another artist had been involved originally. “But we couldn’t get clearance from Sony because he left Sony on bad terms and went to Def Jam. Sony wouldn’t clear his music. With EA-Ski, he owns all his music.” London said EA-Ski also has two videos that are going to be included as bonus features on the DVD. “We’re also going to do a making-of that’s also going on the DVD,” she added. “I’m really excited about the project.” London said the project will not be along the lines of the Snoop D and Ice T adult projects. “Those were cute but more amateurish. We’re going to put more into this and stylize it and bring his personality out. Of course in the adult version, he won’t be in any of the commercial scenes.”
