Grover Beach, California- A judge ruled owners of an adult-oriented business violated a lease agreement by selling hardcore pornography and they can be evicted.
Fantasy World owner Natacga Smith and husband Art have rented an 800 swuare-foot unit on Grand Avenue from business man and former city Councilman Peter Keith since Jan. 6.
In October, Keith served Smith with 30 day notice telling her to stop selling the material. When she didn’t comply, Keith moved to evict the business. The lease agreement said the Smiths could sell swimwear and adult-themed novelties, gag gifts and games and it specified the Smith were not to sell hardcore porn in any form. But the bulk of the Smith’s inventory is adult-oriented videos and DVDs.
San Luis Obispo County Superior Court judge Roger Picquet decided this week that the movies were hardcore porn and in violation of the lease agreement. Keith said he intends to evict Smith immediately.
