Los Angeles, CA- Organizers of the first annual F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media & Entertainment) Awards are pleased to announce that the fans have spoken and the finalists have been announced at the event’s only official website, www.thefameawards.com.
The awards show takes place on June 24th at 9 pm during Erotica LA at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and will be free to attend for those who purchased tickets for the convention. The event will hosted by comedian and Howard Stern Show regular, The Reverend Bob Levy (www.revboblevy.com), Adam & Eve contract star Carmen Luvana (www.clubcarmen.com) and award-winning male adult actor, Tommy Gunn (www.tommygunnxxx.com).
Due to some very close races, the field of finalists has been expanded to eight per category. The organizers of the F.A.M.E. Awards – WantedList.com, Genesis Magazine (www.genesismagazine.com), Adam & Eve (www.adameve.com) and AVN.com – feel this will give fans even more choices to vote for from the outstanding performers, directors and movies who have received the most votes from their fans. Also, the Wild Card category, which was chosen overwhelmingly by the fans, was “The Perfect Slut… Porn’s Dirtiest Girl.” A panel of judges has selected the eight finalists for that category.
“We never expected this type of turnout,” Anh Tran, co-Founder of WantedList, said about the response thus far. “We’re really excited to see what happens in this final round.” The final round of voting is now open at www.thefameawards.com and will run until the awards show.
