Tyler Faith writes: Hey Uncle Gene! I read the story about porn stars using myspace to lure kids to their sites. That’s pretty pathetic if it’s true but it reads more like some conservative fat chick in Oklahoma who has no life who needed another excuse to bash the adult industry. I have about 19,000 people on my friends list. While I really can’t check the age of every person that requests to be a part of my friend’s network, I DO discourage minors from emailing me back and forth. In fact I frequently tell people who are listed as “UNDER 18” that I will not correspond with them because they are underage. However, adult material is not allowed on MySpace so even if I WAS to converse with a minor, there’s really nothing wrong with it unless I discuss adult materials or inappropriate chatter. But, in an attempt to avoid any accusations or bad situations, I avoid minors all together. And yes, I do have a link to my website on my page but it takes the user to a 2257 page that instructs them to go away if they are under 18. If they go on my site after that, it’s not my problem. Just my two cents Gene! Now, may I touch your feet? 🙂 xoxo, Tyler, www.TylerFaith.com; www.MySpace.com/TylerFaith
