NYC- Allegations of sexual harassment against Maury Povich belong in private arbitration, not open court, the talk show host’s lawyers say.

Attorneys for Povich and NBC Universal made the argument in legal papers that ask a Manhattan Supreme Court judge to toss the lurid $100 million lawsuit filed by producer Bianca Nardi, 28. Nardi contends she was forced to wear sexy clothing, bare her breasts and flirt with married men for undercover segments of Povich’s show.

The suit also says Povich, the husband of high-profile newscaster Connie Chung, was having an affair with longtime producer Donna Ingber, 47, a claim Ingber’s husband, Jeffrey, has denied.

Povich, 66, and Chung, 59, haven’t commented on the allegations in the lawsuit.

The court papers, made public yesterday, contend Nardi’s contract calls for disputes to be handled in arbitration.

A spokesman for NBC Universal, the parent company of “The Maury Povich Show,” stood by the motion.

“In response to the plaintiff’s complaint, we have filed a motion to dismiss the case and have asked the court to instead compel the plaintiff to arbitrate her claims as required by her contract,” spokesman Joe Schlosser said.

Nardi’s lawyer, Bruce Baron, scoffed at the idea.

“I think it is ironic that defendants … want this dispute to be aired privately in some back room,” Baron said. “My client looks forward to her constitutional right to obtain justice in a court of law.”
