When we sat down with Ron Hightower a couple of months ago and had a series of chats about his comeback into the world of porn, Hightower was drafting what sounded like an elaborate and somewhat complicated set piece which, on its best day, might resemble an interracial Magnolia.

Hightower’s debut feature for EvolutionErotica, Race Mixers, was intended to be this storyline involving characters from one vignette interacting with characters from another. Easy sounding but way too hefty as a porn conceit, we thought- even if it did work. Fortunately, Hightower chose the path of least resistance and delivers an entertaining package of scenes that distances the viewer from gratuitous soap opera and keeps the action, instead, on the front burner. Speaking of drama, the very lovely Devon DeRay had her share of it several years back when she was doing Kareem Abdul Jabar and having alleged onset pregnancies with Michael J. Cox. But time has passed and Devon settles in gracefully with Mickey G. for a top notch ass banging that comes highly recommended.

Now, as sleek video innovations go, you might or might not like what Hightower comes up with in the opening Sheridan Leigh/J-Monty pairing. With two sets of screen images running simultaneously, you can catch, side-by-side, both hardcore, as Sheridan takes it in the ass, along with some resounding foreplay, for those who crave the softer tease and scene build up. But whatever magic is accomplished in the editing bay to deliver this viewing experience, works for us and Sheridan’s sturdy legs and lusty body are more than a perfect match for her partner’s probing sexual capacity. Best moments are when Sheridan arches those great legs of hers back as J’s ripping up her ass. Then you’ve got the beautiful Ashley Long, who handles threeways like some race car drivers handle freeways in, what is for the most part, a pretty strong d.p. Sean Michaels and Rhiannon Bray also excel in their interracial teamwork with Rhiannon’s ass being cock-fed in at least four positions while the Justin Slayer and Kayla Marie tryst features Justin banging her from behind assuming the military push-ups position. That is one you gotta see.

Also included in this package is a bonus scene featuring Cytherea and Boz which, if Cytherea has had a better day, I’m sure she’s seen it.
