> Dick Delaware calls and leaves a message Saturday night: “Good news- I won my fight first round in about 40 seconds into the first round by a technical knockout. I wanted to thank some of the people in the business who came out to support me tonight. First and foremost Cassandra Cruz, my girlfriend; secondly I would like to thank Dale Jordan, Jack Venice. I would like to thank Sascha and also Scott Lyons. These are people in the industry who came out and supported me to night.- I wanted to make that well known to the industry.”
In a follow-up call to Delaware it was his opinion that the ref shouldn’t have let the fight go on as long as it did. Delaware affected a take down- his opponent was dazed, and Delaware delivered something like 8 to 10 unanswered blows including three which Delaware feels the referee should have stopped before that. Delaware, who’s resolved issues with Cruz, says Scott Lyons took some great photos of the fight. “I was really impressed with his photography.”
> Holly Randall posts on www.xxxporntalk.com: So the gig was boring as hell and no one took it seriously– to spice it all up I was obnoxious as hell and was planning on taking my top off onstage just to raise a little excitement in the evening. I was never called up onstage– I just marched my ass up there and prepared to take my top off. I had George or whoever in my ear begging me not to act inapporapiately, so I waited until I got back on the main floor and then I let Cassidey Rae suck on my nipples. The show was so boring I brought out the ultimate obnoxiousness in me and probably made everyone think I was insane. The best part was Andrew Blake trying to make my cousin the star of his next flick. Monstar can attest to my shinanigans.
>Monstar writes: you were a work of art baby. I like how you tried to accept the award for “best gay director.” Holly and whatever she was drinking stole the damn show. her table was the one to be at.
> Dan G writes: Knowing Blake’s exacting standards, this leads me to believe your cousin is either a) old-school Penthouse Pet material (which is to say much better looking than the current standard) or b) the dullness of the awards had forced him to ingest copious amounts of alcohol and thus don the beer goggles. Let’s see some pictures and decide for ourselves, no?
PS: Your sister is definitely Andrew Blake quality
PPS: “Studio A presents ‘Holly'” has a nice ring to it, and would sell like gangbusters too, now that I come to think of it. It would be like a moving version of your nude photos set to music.
>Monstar posts: Her cousin was beyond fucking hot. I asked her to marry me twice but she wasn’t havin it.. …that & holly said she would kill me, in between giving me face licks
> Holly Randall adds: Everyone in my family is so fucking good looking it’s annoying. Trust me when I say I’m not the hottest of the bunch, I just have the most personality!
A thread is on XPT about Mary Carey and her so-called intellect.
>Derek 117 writes: I agree with you, Holly, I don’t think Mary’s “smart”. Manipulative is more accurate.
Mary uses other people (most often Tawny Roberts), telling embarrassing stories–true or untrue–about them, to keep Mary’s name in the porn media. Tawny Roberts (Mary’s All Time “Chump” Award Winner), Kendra Jade, and Cassiddy immediately come to mind.
Mary’s drama usually trashes someone else’s image. If you go back and read all of the quotes/phone-in’s to Luke Ford from Mary over the past two years, you’ll notice that Mary is always putting someone else’s dirty laundry (real or not) out on the street. Not to play Dr. Phil: but it seems to me that Mary has a very low opinion of herself and by publicly revealing the mis-steps, faults (Tawny’s alleged drinking problem) of other–prettier? more popular?–porn girls, it allows Mary to feel better about herself.
Also, her running for Governor of California is another example of Mary using people (this time outside the porn industry) who are more popular/have greater name identification to garner publicity for Mary.
Mary-the-Manipulator. Maybe she should use that in her current, publicity-seeking, campaign for Governor of California.
