Lemay had been asked to direct prior but says it was a bad experience.

“It was a boyfriend who was a cameraman [Frank Marino]. I’d call action and he’d go wait a minute. It kind of undermines our abilities and then they treat you like a fucking actress. I learned by putting my money behind it they had to listen to me. I had the power of get off my set. That helped a little.”

Lemay conceded that it’s hard working in front of the camera and conveying your vision to a third person.”To hope it gets on film- it’s a real complicated issue,” she said. “I learned more about myself in an edit bay than I ever really needed to know. I did the boxcover and it’s now like I’ve sent it off into the world.”

According to Lemay, the title of the movie is akin to her career starting over.

“Being a first movie it had to be disaster, which you never tell the story until after it’s already out- then we’ll come back and talk about everything that happened.” Lemay said the distributor bought the movie five days after she finished it.

“Which is unheard of,” she added. “People wait for distributing forever and I got it in five days. I’m pretty happy right now. We don’t want to complain about anything.” Lemay mentioned some of the performers in the cast which include Caroline Pierce.

“She is so spectacular to work with,” said Lemay. “No matter what, when, where, anything.” Annie Body is also in the cast and Lemay didn’t know that she squirted.

“And more bush than I’d ever seen in a girl. And Diablo- poor Diablo. I so overwhelmed Diablo. He didn’t make a peep the whole time, but he showed up at the very last minute when somebody no-showed on me. He walked in the door and he did a great scene and I have no complaints.” Besides the fact that Diablo’s wife was sitting at the foot of the bed during the scene, Lemay said he was the only boy-girl in the movie and that she ran out of film but what have gotten a lot more. Batman was playing some of the scene and asked Lemay who the cameraman was.

“Some poor fucker that didn’t know what he was doing,” she replied. “That’s the last thing he’ll ever shoot. But that’s okay because we got better as time went by.”

Because we were all partying until the very last minute. But we all just drank then. We’d sit around the tables in the casino bars and just get ripped.”

Lemay noted that she and Sunny Lane were one of the few people at a recent award show.
