NY- Mets catcher Paul Lo Duca went public yesterday to gallantly defend the Playboy model wife who wants to divorce him.

“The situation with my wife is very personal,” Lo Duca said at Shea Stadium. “I love my daughter more than anything in the world, and I love my wife.”

Sonia Lo Duca, 34, filed for divorce against the Met in June, alleging in a Texas court petition that he cheated on her.
