Subject: Why I Left JKP
Gonna start this off by verifying what really happened.
Was I pregnant with Lee Stone’s baby like everyone talked?
NO. WAS NEVER PREGNANT TO BEGIN WITH.
Did I “flake” on JKP?
YES. MY CONTRACT WAS OFFICIALLY EXPIRED ON DEC. 1ST OF 2002 AND JKP NEVER ISSUED ME ANOTHER AGREEMENT TO EXTEND IT. DID THEY EVEN WANT TO? THE ANSWER IS OBVIOUSLY YES SINCE THEY THEN WENT TO AVN, THE INTERNET, ALL OF THE GOSSIP SITES AND MEDIA OUTLETS TO SPREAD THE WORD THAT I WAS SUPPOSEDLY STILL UNDER CONTRACT AND PROHIBITED FROM WORKING FOR ANYONE ELSE. THEY ALSO SENT ME A LETTER OF WARNING IN ATTEMPT TO SCARE ME INTO RETURNING TO WORK FOR THEM AND THREATENING ME AGAINST WORKING FOR ANY OTHER COMPANY. THEY TRIED TO ACCUSE ME OF BREACHING A CONTRACT THAT NO LONGER EXISTED. I NEVER EVEN WORKED FOR ANYONE ELSE SINCE ALL THIS WENT DOWN…I SIMPLY CHOSE TO LEAVE THE INDUSTRY ALTOGETHER.
Was my sudden weight gain an issue?
IT APPEARED AS IF JILL WAS INDEED GETTING WORRIED ABOUT THAT…I WAS A TWIG WHEN I FIRST CAME ABOARD JKP…EATING ONE MEAL A DAY AND LIVING ON ALOT OF BOOZE. THEN THE DEPRESSION SET IN AND I FOUND MYSELF EATING OUT OF BOREDOM AND DRINKING TO BECOME SOMEONE DIFFERENT THAN WHO I WAS. JILL LATER TRIED TO ASSESS THE DRINKING PROBLEM, AND I COULD ONLY SIT AND LAUGH. I MEAN…WHO THE HELL DID SHE THINK I ADOPTED THE HABIT FROM TO BEGIN WITH? MORE AND MORE AS I GOT TO KNOW JILL, IT SEEMED I’D NEVER SEEN HER SOBER. I WAS VERY ANGRY…IT WAS LIKE THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK AND I THOUGHT SOMEONE LIKE JILL
WOULD UNDERSTAND.
Why did I flake on KSEX Radio?
I’LL ADMIT…WHEN THINGS TURNED SOUR WITH JKP, I UP AND TOOK OFF. REFUSED CALLS, WOULDN’T RETURN A DAMNED ONE OF THEM…AND I STARTED TAKING MY ANGER OUT ON THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY, KSEX INCLUDED. KSEX DID NOT DESERVE THAT AND I LATER ISSUED A LETTER OF APOLOGY TO KSEX WHO GLADLY ACCEPTED IT AND OFFERED ME THE CHANCE TO BE PART OF THEIR PROGRAM ANY TIME IN THE FUTURE. I WAS SO ANGRY AT THE WHOLE INDUSTRY, DISAPPOINTED IN JKP WHO CLAIMED TO BE MY FAMILY ALL THIS TIME WHEN INDEED I NEVER FELT LIKE PART OF THE FAMILY.
What was life like as part of the JKP family?
SOMETIMES WE WENT OUT AND HAD FUN…BUT I WAS VERY SELDOM ASKED TO COME OUT AND PARTY WITH MY OWN GIRLS WHEN IT DIDN’T INVOLVE PRESS OR THE WHOLE FAMILY TO APPEAR TOGETHER FOR SOME MAJOR EVENT. I FELT VERY LEFT OUT. I ADMIRED JILL AND LOOKED UP TO HER FROM THE BEGINNING. SHE SHOWERED ME WITH ALOT OF PROMISES. SHE TOLD ME TO WATCH HER AND “LEARN”. I DID. BUT THEN OTHER GIRLS STARTED TO GET FAVORED OVER OTHERS AND I SUDDENLY FOUND MYSELF LEFT IN THE DARK. I LOOKED FORWARD TO BEING TAKEN UNDER HER WINGS, AND GOT SHOVED TO THE SIDE…MAYBE IT WAS BECAUSE I WASN’T WILD ENOUGH OR RICH ENOUGH, I DON’T KNOW. MAYBE IT WAS BECAUSE I HAD DONE A SCENE WITH HER EX HUSBAND BEFORE I EVEN CAME TO KNOW HER. I’LL NEVER KNOW, BUT MY HEART WAS BROKEN BECAUSE I TRUSTED HER SO MUCH.
Did I get along with the other JKP girls?
YES!! ASHTON, SHYLA, TYLER, AND JENNA HAZE WERE ALL REALLY SUPER COOL GIRLS. EVEN DEVEN DAVIS WAS THE SPUNKIEST, MOST GIVING CHICK…JILL AND I BECAME VERY DISTANT IN THE END, AND HAVEN NEVER EVER LIKED ME. SEE I WAS NOT AFRAID TO VOICE MY OPINION AND LET JILL KNOW WHAT MY FEELINGS WERE…HAVEN GOT ANGRY WITH ME WHEN I DID THIS ONE NIGHT AND THREATENED TO BEAT ME UP RIGHT THERE ON THE SPOT IN A FANCY RESTAURANT IN BEVERLY HILLS. NOT EXACTLY THE KIND OF MATURITY OR DISPLAY THAT SHOULD GO ON IN SUCH A PLACE. SHE LITERALLY PUSHED HER CHAIR BACK AND STOOD UP BEARING BOTH FISTS. I NEVER DID ANYTHING TO HER, WAS ALWAYS NICE TO HER, DID I DESERVE THIS? FUCK NO…SO NEEDLESS TO SAY…THINGS WERE NEVER GREAT BETWEEN THE TWO OF US, AND
IT WASN’T FAIR…I WAS ACTIVELY MAKING MOVIES FOR JKP, HAVEN WAS ON SABATICLE? AS FAR AS I WAS CONCERNED SHE HAD NO PLACE AT OUR COMPANY MEETINGS WHEN SHE WASN’T ACTIVELY WORKING FOR THE COMPANY. BUT THIS IS HOW UNFAIR THINGS STARTED TO GET. YES, BY THE END…I WAS FRUSTRATED AND WANTED OUT. I BID MY TIME, WAITED TIL MY CONTRACT EXPIRED, EVEN WORKED PAST THE EXPIRATION DATE TIL I FINALLY SAID “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”…AND WAS GONE.

DUC: So what you doing these days?
Star: I am pursuing my love of writing and enjoying a laid back life with my new boyfriend and dog, Anabel.
DUC: What do you love and hate about the porn industry?
Star: I loved it ’cause you got paid to do what comes naturally – sex. I hated most every other aspect about it, haha. On the serious side, I found that many folks in the porn industry were out to get you while they looked in your eyes, lied, and deceived you. There are a lot of people with ulterior motives, looking to earn a dollar off of your body. That’s all cool and dandy so long as you are getting in return what you deserve. But if you’re not, you are either being naive while not recognizing what they’re doing, or you know about it and are being stupid for not demanding what you deserve. It’s a tricky industry.
DUC: How did you come to enter the industry?
Star: An ex-boyfriend of mine wanted to get into the biz, and he knew the only way he could swing that was by convincing a chick to come with him and shape his way. I was the lucky guinea pig! But that’s ok, I got scooped up into a contract, while he sat at home looking for work.
DUC: What were your best and worst experiences?
Star: My best experiences (’cause I love to include the positive stuff first) were getting to travel to signings and see many places I had never seen before and hearing all the gossip when family and friends back home found out what I was doing for a living! My worst experiences (and there were many) were every time the contract company I was part of caused some kind of scene at a convention or simply out at a company meeting, or even at a club. You could not go out and expect an evening with Jill Kelly Productions to go smoothly. Every event it seems was ruined with some girl’s chaos, and they all thrived off of that and had to compete with her for attention, causing yet a bigger scene. I was there to be professional and have fun, not to get in the middle of a big argument with my own contract sisters.
DUC: What do you do in your spare time?
Star: I love to read and write. I am currently working on a few books. I also cross stitch, if you can believe that. Aside from my bookworm tendencies, I also love riding motorcycles, camping, hiking, and playing with my dog.
DUC: How much time do you spend on line every day?
Star: Too much. I’m an internet junkie. I’m working on two books, so I’m right at the computer most of the day. Maybe I should have included online chatting in that last question though, ’cause I’m a chat junkie too.
DUC: Have you ever communicated with a space alien?
Star: Maybe in my sleep. But then again most of the people around me are like space aliens, so my answer might yes?
DUC: What kind of clique were you in in high school?
Star: Hahahaha! I wasn’t in a clique. I hated cliques. I was a cheerleader. I played sports. I did well in the band and drama club but I never locked myself in any category though I loved music and drama. But face it, I always had a big mouth that got me into trouble. I was a geek. I still am. I’m proud of it. I have met and been friends with the coolest people my whole life, so why should I limit myself to an inner circle? I need diversity when it comes to people, for I love them in all sizes, shapes and breeds.
