SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Daniel Baldwin, one of the four acting Baldwin brothers, was arrested on suspicion of auto theft in Santa Monica, his second arrest in the city since April, police said Wednesday.

The owner of a 2003 GMC Yukon had reported it stolen from Orange County to OnStar, which reported the missing sport utility vehicle to Santa Monica police, according to the entertainment news Web site, TMZ.com.

Police found the sport utility vehicle at a Santa Monica motel and saw Baldwin getting inside the vehicle. Officers took Baldwin into custody Tuesday and recovered narcotics and drug paraphernalia from the motel room where he was allegedly staying, according to TMZ. Baldwin was booked on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs and bail was set at $20,000. He was turned over to Orange County authorities, where the sheriff’s department booked him on suspicion of grand theft auto.

Baldwin was arrested in April at another Santa Monica motel after a woman called police, saying he had threatened her. Police said they found cocaine on him. That case is pending.
