Wells broke her jaw but when I reported on the accident, Wells called me to say that it never happened. However, that didn’t stop Wells from telling an apparently different story to other people. The story will not go away, and that’s probably because too many people were given a different version from the one Wells wanted on the record.
According to speculation, in a fall out between the two, Wells’ boyfriend might be sending e-mails throughout the industry in an effort to hurt her career. That much has been discussed on the latest Wells thread on XPT. The boyfriend’s name is Rudy and he’s been seen going a lot to Porn Star Karaoke with an associate. Rudy, who tells people he’s a record producer, met Wells in Las Vegas whereupon he “turned her out” in a variety of activities including porn. Wells has told people that Rudy was taking the money and putting it into a bank account in Glendale. It was something like around $350,000 over a two and a half year period. Also from what’s being discussed, Wells was not allowed to have her own bank account and everything she earned went right into that account.
In some of the communiques Rudy’s been sending out, he claims that Wells staged her own accident in an effort to shakedown Evil Angel. According to whoever is telling the story, Wells was strapped to a chair on wheels, bondage-style, which flipped over and caused her entire weight to land upside down on her, thus breaking her jaw. Depending who you listen to, Wells subsequently received a $50,000 check [which supposedly Rudy took] and she was told not to discuss the incident. Which would make sense when Wells denied to me that it ever happened.Some of the story that also got out had Wells offered anywhere from $1500 to $5,000 on the spot to say that nothing had happened. With her mouth bleeding profusely, Wells finally convinced people that she needed to be taken to the hospital and had a couple of surgeries afterwards.
And, according to the e-mails being sent out, Wells is supposed to be under some kind of investigation for prostitution which isn’t true. Wells has filed a restraining order on Rudy.
