Porn Valley- Male performer Marcus London had been repped by LA Direct but left the agency when he started getting directing gigs. London said the split was cordial and they met in Derek’s office to talk. Then several weeks ago London and his girlfriend Devon Lee got approached by Lisa Ann who now runs her own agency, Clear Talent Management. The upshoot of that was, London and Lee are now being repped by Lisa Ann but on a non-exclusive basis.
“If she gets us work, that’s fine,” said London.
Apparently Derek got wind of it and called London while he was on a set. London suspects that Derek got the impression he was going to poach girls from LA Direct and send them over to Lisa Ann.
“He attempted to call me a number of times while I was on set for Penthouse,” London continues. “I wasn’t answering my phone. Then he sends me a text stating have you lost your balls? In other words, why didn’t I want to pick up the phone for him. At that point I got very annoyed because I don’t get spoken to that way by an agent, especially one I’m not working for any more. So we get into this big argument that lasted six to eight minutes about how I better watch myself and if my girlfriend or Lisa Ann takes any of his girls, he’s coming for me. And I said, you’re coming for me, what? He said you and me are going to get it on. You know how we do it in England. You know how it’s going to be- me and you. I’m, like, fine. Bring it on. Any time. Any place.
“Then I told him before you get your knickers in a twist, I have never and never would try to take any girls off of you. The reason being you do a good enough job of that yourself. They leave because of you. You are your own worst enemy, Derek. At the end of the day, you’re the one that makes them unhappy, or you’re not doing what you’re supposed to be doing. If they want to leave, they’ll do that any way.
“He didn’t want to listen,” London continues.
It was soon after that conversation that London got an e-mail from a company that he’s supposed to direct for five days a week.
“They said due to rumors in the industry, that me and Derek have a situation and that we’re feuding, they wish to retract the offer of having me on as a full-time director due to the fact that they’re scared Derek may stop them using his favorite girls,” London adds. “The only person that could have passed that rumor around was Derek because the only person I told was my girlfriend.” London said he told the company he understood the position they were in.
“But this is Derek trying to control, destroy or injure my career,” London contends. The agreement, according to London, was not in writing but that he had been training with the company for the last three weeks.
“I understand their situation,” says London. “At the end of the day, if it benefits them, what can I say? I’m still a performer. I’m not really losing, technically, because when I sort this out or when Derek disappears off the face of the earth, hopefully, I’ll get my job back.”
Then yesterday a friend of London’s apparently got a call from Derek telling him that London wasn’t to shoot any of his girls in a content capacity for any site.
“Unfortunately there is someone monopolizing the industry and bending people’s will to his benefit,” London states. “This is a small part of what Derek does. Girls come to me and say they want to leave him. I say if you want to leave him, just get up and leave. Unfortunately a lot of girls are either under his roof or have his phones and can have their lifeline cut off as they walk away. I said to Derek if a girl has a problem and they want to leave, I will help them. I won’t tell them where to go but I’ll help in other ways. At the end of the day there’s competition out there and if you can’t handle the competition you shouldn’t be in the business.”
London also claims- and says this is happened to his girlfriend- that Derek will take girls out in a car and demand blowjobs and handjobs.
“And when they refuse he says in no uncertain terms, if you don’t I won’t give you much more work.”
