Georgia- A second man accused of conspiring to distribute cocaine in the Sugarloaf Country Club prostitution investigation turned himself in Tuesday afternoon.
Mecoa Naketia Allen, 28, of Locust Grove, was the sixth person arrested in connection with the case.
Authorities arrested Nicole Probert, 30, of Lawrenceville, and Lisa Ann Taylor, 42, of Duluth, this month on prostitution, racketeering and drug charges. The women allegedly operated a high-priced brothel in Taylor’s Sugarloaf mansion and procured drugs for clients, authorities have claimed. Lawyers for each woman proclaimed their innocence.
Two suspected clients turned themselves in to the Gwinnett County Detention Center last week to face misdemeanor pandering charges. Both posted bond.
Charles Edwin Hill, 38, of Lawrenceville was also arrested in connection with the case Saturday and charged with conspiracy to possess cocaine. Hill is being held at Gwinnett County jail without bond.
Gwinnett has incarcerated Allen before on several charges, including felony drug charges, police said. He was most recently jailed in December on a charge of driving without a valid license.
