Porn Valley- The more you hear about the behind-the-scenes of the latest AEE Show, the more it plays like the director’s cut of The Passion of the Christ. Veronica Rayne was a co-host on KSEX Wednesday night and relayed some of the things that happened to her at the show.
“I think it definitely needs to be said,” stated Rayne when Tony Batman sounded like he was wary of going certain places.
“Most of us stayed at the Venetian hotel,” said Batman tersely. “Some of us had a good time; some of us didn’t.”
“I think a lot of people had a good time,” Rayne agreed. “But I think a lot of us were shocked and appalled at how we were treated by The Venetian staff. This is my opinion. I beg of people whoever is listening. Don’t stay at The Venetian. I think they’re horrible, horrible, rotten people.”
“It was more the people around me,” Rayne continued. “We had so many people coming to us- I had a girlfriend of mine- they accused her of having cocaine in her purse. I know for a fact this girl does not do it and she made a point of saying I make $5,000 a week. Why would I come and get a $2,000 purse if I had illegal cocaine. It was her prescription drugs that her doctor prescribed her. It was her Xanax. A pill got crushed. She said my doctor is here- call I can prove I have a prescription. They basically told her to get out of the hotel or they were going to call the cops on her. When I tried to call my lawyer and her doctor, they told me to hang up my phone or I was going to be arrested. I tried to obtain my lawyer and her doctor.”
Rayne said all of this was happening on the casino floor of The Venetian.
“We had just come in from the award show and this was, probably, one in the morning, two in the morning that they were doing this to a 20 year-old girl. They were kicking her out. When she said there were several things missing from [her] purse they accused her of lying. They went through her purse for no apparent reason.”
Rayne said she knew the girl very well and that the girl admitted there was something illegal in her purse.
“She openly admitted to it, she said keep it.” Rayne said she had to get between the girl and a rent a cop when the cop was getting in the girl’s face.
“She was being very sweet and a lot nicer than I would have been,” said Rayne.
According to Rayne, Kevin Rubio also gave her permission to relate the fact on the air that his hotel safe was broken into and $10,000 was [allegedly] stolen.
“We had in-room safes- he had $10,000 stolen out of his hotel safe.” Rayne said Rubio went to the hotel’s night manager [Eric Peppers?].
“He [Rubio] said I have a voice recorder of your staff letting this girl into my room after I cancelled the hotel key.” At this point Rayne’s telling of the story got a little confusing to follow which is par for the porn course.
Rayne said something about Rubio canceling a key from Mandalay Bay because he perceived that there was going to be a problem with a certain girl.
“The night manager at The Venetian turned around and said fuck you, prove it,” according to Rayne. “Prove that it was my staff.”
“How did he get a voice recorder?” Batman wondered.
“Because the girl had called him- being a psycho-.and must have forgot the phone was on. He actually had a recorder on his phone and the manager stroked us for about 35 minutes until security came down.”
Batman said he was getting confused [as I’m sure most of the audience].
“Rubio had the money in his safe,” he repeated to be clear. “Someone went in his room while he wasn’t there…”
“After he cancelled the keys,” Rayne added. “After he verbally canceled the keys from Mandalay Bay which was another catastrophe.”
Batman wondered how Mandalay Bay entered into all of this.
“He was at Mandalay Bay,” said Rayne.
“So he [Rubio] called The Venetian Hotel and spoke with the manager,” Batman continued, “and said there was going to be a problem in his room and needed the keys canceled? And he would get a new one when he got there?”
“Because Mandalay Bay was not allowing our limos in there,” Rayne continued. “They basically said you take our ride or wait an hour. So he was basically stuck at Mandalay Bay for an hour trying to get to The Venetian. So he verbally called in and cancelled his keys to the point where his keys did not work when he got to The Venetian. So he knows that they were canceled. So the staff had to let her [the psycho girl] in his room.”
Batman wondered why Rubio didn’t just call the police and have the girl charged if he knew her.
“I don’t think he knew her real name,” Rayne surmised. “We all go under stage names. A lot of us don’t know our real names. Once when he got to The Venetian, he requested the head of security, head of the hotel, police, they were basically telling him to go fuck himself. They told him there’s nothing we can do. We don’t believe you. Our staff did not let this girl in. He said I have a voice recorder of this girl talking to your staff. And the night manager at The Venetian said prove it. Prove that it’s my staff. He wouldn’t listen. He didn’t care. Nothing. He was like we’re all scumbags. The Venetian staff from the night of the awards on treated every porn performer like we were criminals. They did not want us there. They did not care.”
Rayne quoted some debatable statistic that the porn industry brought $130 million into The Venetian.
“My company alone- Pink Visuals the company I signed for- spent $80,000 at The Venetian and basically once they [The Venetian] had their money the night of the show, that was it. They didn’t want anything to do with us. They were kicking girls out of rooms, 4:30, 5 in the morning accusing them of running up bills. It was insane.” Rayne said as soon as the show was over the hotel’s attitude was get the fuck out of here.
“We don’t want you here.”
