Porn Valley- Mitch Spinelli is talking about the days when he’d be shooting action, adventure, guns, molls and Joey Verducci. Monday morning Mitch is doing a MILF movie in Woodland Hills for his company Acid Rain Productions. Mommy’s a MILF, I think he’s calling it.
I ask Spinelli if he’d still have the patience to shoot a scripted movie like the old days. Sure, says Mitch, then gives instructions to James Deen to sneak around the back of a house and then fuck Darryl Hanah in the ass.
“That’s my script,” Spinelli laughs. Hanah, who has this blond, slinky elegance, is now being repped by Lisa Ann’s agency, Clear Talent Management, www.cleartalentmanagement.com. Hanah apparently got taken off the LA Direct site in April when she placed a call from Sacramento County jail. She explains the circumstances- they’re a bit complicated- but it has something to do with her growing pot five years ago.
I’m thinking to myself Mariah Carey’s raising a stink over Mary Carey. You could only imagine what Daryl Hannah’s reaction would be to a woman using her name [with a slightly different spelling] in a MILF movie.
Spinelli says he shot Carey’s first scene for a movie called Double D Dolls. Asked if she herself has got any dos and don’ts, Hanah tells Spinelli “No degradation stuff- like shoving my face in the toilet.”
Before their scene gets under way, Spinelli’s chatting with Deen, asking how things went for him at AEE. Deen says he’s re-growing his brain cells after five days of partying. Spinelli wonders if fans are starting to recognize Deen on the street. Deen says not really but remembers a time a bum came up to him at Venice Beach trying to sell him a porn mag. The magazine falls open to a page with Deen on it. Deen points himself out and the bum freaks.
The shoot’s late getting started and Spinelli’s laughing. He gave camera man Robbie Fisher an address on “Calzone” Street by mistake. There’s no Calzone St. in the Valley but it sounds close to the street where the shoot’s going on. Fisher, arriving, says no problem. His wool cap his pulled over his ears. Chennin Blanc is getting made up. Chennin Blanc doing a MILF movie. I remember interviewing her, maybe it was her first shoot. Blanc, laughing, says this is like ten years ago.
Hanah is explaining how recently she was supposed to have been working with Brian Pumper. Instead, Pumper palms her off on his buddy. Hanah’s a little bit miffed at this development but apparently the buddy struggled during the scene. His name’s Dray Stiff and Hanah enjoys the irony. Fisher says he knows all about the guy- that apparently he’s childhood friends of Pumper and came out here to follow in his footsteps.
“But Pumper, man, he’s a machine,” says Fisher. “He knows what he’s doing.”
Fisher puts Pumper in the Top 5 of male performers and mentions that Pumper’s shooting a movie about Aurora Jolie- a performer who claims to be a virgin begins she only takes it in the ass.
Vanessa Videl [pictured] who’s also in the movie lost her virginity at the age of 12.
“I started young,” she says, stating the obvious. “I was a feisty kid. And I was open-minded and very smart. I guess God gave me a good mind. I knew what was right and wrong and I knew to take care of myself. I was on the pill- I knew what to do. I was always very bright about that and also sexual acts came natural to me. I knew automatically how to do everything and learned my techniques by watching porn. I love to ride on top. I love to lick and kiss that big dick and also I love it doggie-style.”
Smelling good and looking like some well-kept rich broad, Videl reminds you of one of those cosmetic ladies behind the counter at the mall. And that’s pretty close to what Videl does when she’s not in front of a camera. Off and on, Videl’s been in the business about three years.
Videl, a tall, classy redhead, got in the business after a bad divorce. Then when she lost a job after being with a company for 14 years- the company shutting its doors- Videl decided she had to make the kind of money she was accustomed to.
“I did a little escorting at one time,” she admits. “But the one thing about this business is that it’s safer and everyone’s tested. And I enjoy everybody I’ve worked with.”. Videl came in through World Modeling and apparently is a producers’ favorite for her looks and professionalism.
“I follow through with all my calls,” she notes.
“I’ve got some pictures out there but I need to get my website back up.”
Videl lends the impression that she’s put the escorting-thing behind her, mentioning that she’s been serious with someone and they have marriage plans.
His first scene in the business was for Channel 69.
“It was up on Mulholland,” she remembers. “I remember it being exciting but it was kind of rushed. The guy- I can’t remember who I worked with- had to catch a plane and it was rush, rush, rush. He threw me up in the air a few times and we were done. It wasn’t normally making sex. It wasn’t glamorous.
“But otherwise I do enjoy this,” Videl states. “And of course there’s some idiots out there, too, as we all know.” Asked about the idiots, Videl says it’s a shame that a lot of them are drugged-out.
“That’s what’s happening with the industry,” she says. “It’s attitudes, or else they can’t act because they’re drugged out on whatever. The one thing is- keep this as a professional business. Go in, take care of your job. And if you are a drug addict, go do your drugs at another time. Drinking? Do drinking on your own time. Here, be professional about it- go in and do your scene, then leave and everybody’s happy.”
Her worst experience so far was when Videl one time had three guys on her.
“We were doing a double D.P.,” she relates, “and one of the guys was a little too pushy and hurt me. I turned around and gave him a good slap. Now they know I’m a lady.”
Another thing that irks her are male performers who come into a scene armed with an attitude that grants them license to be rough.
“I’ve had a few like that where they’ll jump on you and give it to you really hard,” she continuers. “No, no, no. Not with a lady. I’m a MILF and proud of it- and we’re going to show those boys what to do. Slow it down and enjoy it. Show the people how it should be done- not something that looks like cheap gonzo- pound, pound, pound and there’s nothing sensual about it. People want to see sensuousness.”
Because of the flu, Videl wasn’t in Vegas this year but went the year before.
“So far I’ve enjoyed this business and have met a lot of wonderful people,” she notes. Between her part time real world job and this, Videl does maybe four to six scenes a month.
“Spreading my name is always a good thing,” she laughs. Growing up, Videl describes herself as a fun person who enjoys horse back riding, drawing, hiking and going to the beach.
“I got into modeling when I was quite young- I did professional modeling for 14 years,” she adds. “Then I got married for awhile and have been divorced for almost ten years. I just met a wonderful man and we’re going to be married next year. And he’s handling this alright.”
“I think we’re long past the point of asking what your folks think about you being in the business,” I tell Videl.
“My mother’s still alive and she doesn’t know- we keep that away from her,” laughs Videl. “She’s a very old-fashioned older Catholic lady.”
For the time being, Videl intends to work as much as she can for the next couple of years.
“I think I look wonderful at 43,” she laughs. “We’ll see once I get married. I don’t know if my husband will want me to keep doing this but so far I’m enjoying it and he enjoys the movies I’ve worked on.”
