Porn Valley- Friday night Skeeter Kerkove got a phone call from Quasarman telling him that he did indeed give Joey Wilson a check for $1,000 to pass on to Skeeter. That was this past Tuesday. Wilson also owes Skeeter $4,000. But Skeeter hasn’t seen either check though Quasarman assured him after their latest chat, that Skeeter would see his no later than Monday and that he would bring it personally if it didn’t come in the mail by then.
“I have to say that I clearly believe him that he gave the check to Joey,” said Skeeter. “The man has never lied to me or exaggerated. I told him I’d call off the dogs. That was all I needed to hear. I remember a long time ago that Mike Albo had contacted Quasarman and he wanted a story on the Kerkoves. But Mike Albo told him that it’s got to be a hatchet job. [The presumtpion was Skeeter was living off of Bridgette in a suitcase pimp way.]
Quasarman told him [Albo] that we were friends and I told Quasarman write whatever you got to write. He followed Bridgette and I around a lot. He was so surprised to see how much property I had amassed before I even met Bridgette. But that’s not what Mike Albo wanted. Quasarman wrote a 5,000 word story and they rejected it. Quasarman told them he wrote what he observed. I thought that was pretty stand up of him, writing what he observed. I guess the article was too boring. There wasn’t a whole lot of drama going on. I don’t even think he got paid for his time which he should have. They ordered it.”
Posted earlier Friday night- Skeeter Kerkove has been waiting patiently. As patient as any man waiting six years for his money can be. Because that’s how long Skeeter’s been asked to hang for the $1,000 he loaned Quasarman in 2001. Skeeter also loaned Joey Wilson $7,000 and is still waiting to see four grand of it. It’s been at least three years, maybe more on that loan.
On Tuesday of this week Skeeter got a call from Joey Wilson saying both the money he and Quasarman owed was going right in the mail. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday- no sign of the checks.
Skeeter remembers a time Quasarman’s wife was in Japan and Skeeter felt very sorry for Quasarman. Skeeter also remembers making one of Joey Wilson’s two checks payable to Joey’s wife which seemed kind of odd, but Joey said, hey, we’re being evicted from our home.
