CHATSWORTH, Ca. – On Monday February 5, 2007 Adam & Eve Pictures and
Candida Royalle’s Femme Productions threw what is already being called “The
party to beat in 2007.” The event took place at famed New York hotspot
Madame X to celebrate the release of Candida Royalle’s latest hit title
Under the Covers as well as the launch of her newest line under Femme
Productions, Femme Chocolat.

The sensually lit and velvet clad upstairs room of Madame X found itself
filled to capacity with adult industry leaders, stars and literati alike.
In attendance were Director Candida Royalle and producer Jamye Waxman as
well as almost the entire cast of the movie Under the Covers ; Syren, Sativa Verte, Mariah Ritani, Erika Kole, Charly Carlyle, Tyler Marciano, Primo and Johnny Dannon.

Adam & Eve Pictures executives Bob Christian, Peter Reynolds, Ryan Thomas and Mischa Allen were also there to support the famed director and her newest title in the Femme line (distributed exclusively by Adam & Eve Pictures).

Adult film legend Jamie Gillis was seen throughout the evening kanoodling
with his equally famous girlfriend, famed NY restaurateur Zarela. Also in
attendance were Entertainment Weekly film reviewer Own Glieberman, columnist Rachel Kramer Bussel, NY Radio personality Dr. Judy Kuriansky, Former Free Speech Coalition lobbyist Kat Sunlove; Sexuality Author and columnist Dr. Joy Davidson; and writers from Redbook, Glamour, Women’s Health, Penthouse the NY Post and NY Press.

The new line from Femme Productions, Femme Chocolat is bringing Women of
Color to the forefront of erotic cinema for Femme. The first release from
the new line “AfroDite Superstar” (launching in March) was directed by
African American artist Venus Hottentot who along with producer Natasha
Cortes and Simone Valentino, the star of “AfroDite Superstar”, came to the
event to share in the excitement of the evening.

Guests were thrilled with their goody bags that included a copy of Under the Covers, a Natural Contours JOLIE vibrator, Adam & Eve lube and condoms and extra batteries.

“This was a great way to kick off a whole new slate of fabulous
