Hannah Harper Put in the Middle of Ben English- Sin City Gay Flap

Porn Valley- Hannah Harper was a guest of Jason Sechrest on his Friday night Young & The Curious Show on KSEX.

Sechrest noted that the April, 2004 issue of Club International has a six-page on- the-set piece [written by Sechrest] about Sin City’s Fidelity Incorporated, starring Harper.

It was also reported that Harper’s going to do a non-exclusive column for Sechrest’s website. Asked what she might write, Harper answered by saying what she won’t: “I hate people that write columns and it’s just ranting about something they’re annoyed about in the industry.” Harper likes to stress positives and write about funny occurrences. “The stuff that I enjoy about my life in the industry,” she said.

Sechrest then brought up a touchy subject but first softened it up with a bit of honey-dripped schmooze by telling Harper how wonderful she was and that he would never do anything to hurt her or put her on the spot. “But I have to put you on the spot,” Sechrest said, first addressing the question why Harper was appearing on the second half of the show when Sechrest normally brings the female guests on at the beginning.

Secondly, Harper was on by herself, sans Jason’s gay porn guest. Sechrest also wanted to address that issue. Sechrest said before Harper came on the show, he got a call from Harper’s boyfriend Ben English.

“Ben English tells me that Sin City decides the last minute, a half hour before you’re supposed to come on the show that they think it would be bad for your image to be seen on the radio show with a gay male porn star.”

Sechrest said he told English that it was his gut reaction that it was English talking and not Sin City. “If it is Sin City talking, fine, that’s totally cool,” said Sechrest.

“I totally understand that,” he continued. “But everybody from Jenna Jameson to Gina Lynn has done this show. Straight male porn stars from Kurt Lockwood to T.T. Boy have sat on this couch next to gay male porn stars and haven’t had a problem. Nobody’s going to construe you as being a bisexual porn star. I told him I don’t think that it’s you. I don’t think it’s your personal decision- I don’t think it’s something you wanted to have happen. He tells me on the phone that’s where you’re wrong, that’s where you don’t know Hannah because Hannah just doesn’t know how to say no and she doesn’t know how to stand up for herself. The truth is she’s uncomfortable with it.”

Sechrest asked Harper what the truth was and who was “uncomfortable” with having her on the show next to a gay male porn star. “Was it Sin City, was it your boyfriend or was it you?”

Harper said she was confused. “At 5:15 I’m on my way here when I get a phone call from Ben, my boyfriend,” Harper related. “He’s saying that him and Sin City have had a discussion.” Harper said she then called Sin City. “I didn’t know what they weren’t calling me directly anyway.” Harper attributes it to a “miscommunication” between Sin City and her boyfriend. “Because when I told my boyfriend I was going to be on the show, he didn’t have a problem with it. When I told Sin City, they didn’t seem to have a problem.” It was noted that Harper had been on the show in the past, though the gay male porn star flaked that day. “But that’s the normal format of the show,” said Sechrest. “That’s what we usually do. We give the girl the most promotion. We give the girl the full hour.”

Sechrest said he then told English that he had to have Hannah on the show along with Billy Brandt. “They’re new columnists for my website. They’re both supposed to come on together and promote it.” Sechrest said if it was Harper’s decision to come on separately that was fine but he wanted to hear it first hand from her. “I want to know who it is that felt uncomfortable with it,” Sechrest continued, “and how interesting it is in 2004 that the adult entertainment industry that someone in the adult entertainment industry would be so closed minded and homophobic. I don’t know who it is.”

Harper continued to stick to her guns calling it a miscommunication between English and Sin City. “Neither one of them seemed to have a problem with it,” she said. “Somehow within that phone call that was had an hour before I was meant to be on the show they’ve misunderstood.” Harper said she personally had no problem and was willing to sit and chat.

Jason said that’s where he was confused because English was insistent that Harper wasn’t comfortable with it and was afraid to tell Sechrest. “I don’t believe that shit,” said Jason. “I’ve hung out with you at gay clubs. You are not a homophobic person. If anything, you would masturbate while watching me go down on another guy.” Harper said she does have a problem with saying no when she’s uncomfortable with things. “I don’t always say so and it is true of Ben to say that about me and my character. So I can see where he’s coming from, there. We spoke about the show and I didn’t have a problem coming on and sitting with Billy and talking.”

Regarding Fidelity Incorporated, Harper said it was now available. Sechrest asked if fans could buy autographed videos from Harper’s website. Harper said, yes, but that she’s had some horrible luck with her website lately. “I’m changing webmasters for the second time so right now it’s not the most organized website in the world. But it’s my goal by Vegas next year to have a really great website.” Harper said she was going to make custom videos. Sechrest wanted to hear Harper say while masturbating, “Jason, you want to spray your babies on my face? I want your babies all over me.”

Harper recalled an instance where a guy said to her while they were having sex that he wanted Harper to have his children. Harper said one of the models who’s living at her house is complaining because a guy came in her eye and it hurts. “I said, yeah, all his babies are swimming up in your eye.” Sechrest said what he likes about Harper is, off camera, she seems so proper, but on camera is “a dirty whore.” Sechrest said he would seriously consider having sex with Harper alone. “I would prefer it to just be you and me one-on-one.”

Sechrest asked if Harper would put him on the list to do a movie together and wondered if she actually kept such a list. Harper said she has maybe three guys that she won’t work with. But she wouldn’t name names. Asked what would make her not work with someone, Harper said it would be a matter of hygiene. “That’s a big factor.”

Sechrest said there were a couple of porn stars out there who don’t wash but observed that Harper kept herself meticulously clean. “Your skin’s flawless,” he said. “And you hair’s always incredibly conditioned.” According to Sechrest, Harper looks like she stepped out of a Pantene commercial and that she has perfect teeth besides. Sechrest said he’s often heard a comment from Eric Middleman of Playboy that what separates the look of a porn star from the look of a mainstream actress is the teeth. “A porn star’s teeth may be good but they’re never perfect like a mainstream actress’.

“I think that’s part of what makes you look so mainstream, also, is the fact that your teeth are so fucking perfect,” Sechrest added. Harper said she just shot with Devon Michaels and Chris Cannon all day for content and that Michaels also has perfect teeth. Sechrest asked what it was with Cannon smacking his penis. “He loves to smack his penis. He pulls out of you and hits it hard.” Harper said Steven St. Croix also did a scene with her where he was pulling out of her and punching the couch. Sechrest said he’s seen St. Croix get aggressive in scenes but never violent or angry. Harper agreed with Sechrest that violent sex turns her on.

She said she was shooting for Aurora Snow on Monday and had been in Snow’s Assploitations 2. Sechrest said Snow is all about the violence. Asked what was the best part of being a Sin City contract girl, Harper said it was the other two contract girls [Snow and Shay Sweet.]

“Aurora and Shay Sweet are just so lovely,” Harper said. “And you don’t often get that with contract girls.” It was also Harper’s opinion that Tina Tyler was doing a really great job as Sin City publicist.
