BATON ROUGE, LA – For 2007 Penthouse Pet, Wicked Girl, and Baton Rouge native STORMY DANIELS, going back to Louisiana to feature dance is always about more than just an opportunity to return to her Bayou State roots. This week, it’s also a chance to celebrate both the completion of OPERATION DESERT STORMY, her largest production as a director-performer-star to date, and the release of her first ever all-girl project, Wicked’s THE PREDATOR.
It all amounts to so much good news that a simple weekend dance gig just wouldn’t do it justice, which is why she’s booked appearances today through Saturday at Baton Rouge’s famed GOLD CLUB CABARET, located at 4622 Bennington Avenue (for driving directions and showtimes, please call the club directly at 225.923.0123).
As her fans will readily recall, the last time Stormy danced in Louisiana it was to compete in the Seventh Annual G-String Awards, hosted by the New Orleans Penthouse Club. And compete she did, dancing for SRO audiences each night before sweeping the awards with triple threat wins in the G-String Universe, G-String Gold Overall, and G-String Magazine Division categories.
Fans venturing out this week to spend the evening with the alluring Ms. Daniels will be among the first to learn the dirty details behind THE PREDATOR, which pairs Stormy up with a stellar all-girl cast that includes Alektra Blue, Dee, Jenaveve Jolie, Jenna Haze, Justine Joli, Kimberly Kane, Leah Luv, Melissa Lauren, Sammie Rhodes, Tory Lane, and Trina Michaels.
For those who automatically associate “all girl” with lighter, softer erotica, the busty blonde is quick to point out that she considers this dark erotic thriller to be “the nastiest movie I’ve ever made. It’s very twisted.” Wicked’s DVD is scheduled to reach retailers nationwide May 16th.
Admittedly lighter in tone is the explosive comedy epic OPERATION DESERT STORMY, a six figure blend of zany erotic comedy, high espionage, and scorching sex scenes, which the enterprising Ms. Daniels (in a brilliant triple threat showing as writer, director, and star) finished shooting last week.
Scheduled for a Fall release, this sprawling production represents its creator’s most accomplished work to date, and again, Louisiana fans who come down to the Gold Club Cabaret will be able to learn first-hand details about what’s certain to be one of 2007’s highest profile crossover releases.
Stormy’s week in Baton Rouge represents just the most recent stop in an ongoing media blitz that’s kept AVN’s 2007 Contract Star Of The Year constantly in the public eye since her February 2007 issue of Penthouse arrived in retail outlets nationwide.
From winning awards that speak to the richness and diversity of her many talents, to shooting the most elaborate project of her career, Stormy Daniels never fails to provoke, surprise, tantalize, and, above all, please her fans.
