Las Vegas- An arrest warrant has been issued for Adam Pacman Jones in connection with shooting which occurred in February at a Las Vegas strip club.
Jones, who is already serving a one-year suspension from the NFL, will face two felony charges resulting from a Las Vegas strip club disturbance in February that led to three people being shot. Jones will face two counts of felony coercion, and if found guilty, could face up to six years in prison. With these felony charges, the chances of Pacman’s suspension to be shortened or for his reinstatement when it ends, are almost zero.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Clark County District Court, Nevada, Jones threatened to kill employees at the strip club, and he bit a bouncer on the ankle. The shooting following the incident left one employee paralyzed and two others with minor injuries. The shooter has not been identified yet.
The 23-year-old Tennessee Titans cornerback did not appeal his suspension, hoping to be reinstated sooner for good behavior. But his actions are making many call for Pacman Jones complete ban from the NFL.
Pacman Jones is also sought for questioning in Atlanta, Georgia, for yet another strip club shooting incident. The Atlanta police does not believe that Jones was involved in the shooting, but he could provide valuable information to the investigation.
