CANOGA PARK- Lexington Steele brought his unique point of view as
three-time AVN Male Performer of the Year and owner of Mercenary Pictures to Black Entertainment Television’s religious-themed Sunday morning program, Meet the Faith.
The episode, titled The Sex Show [Sleeping with Stereotypes], aired on July
8 and dealt with the issues of historic black stereotypes and if it affects
sex lives today.
“The work we do in the adult industry isn’t for everyone,” Steele said. “I
often make comparisons of A-list male and female talent being on par with
professional athletes and how the requirements and the maintenance involved, in terms of mental and physical conditioning, are alike. For someone who came into the industry, as I did, after doing my research and who continually strives to bring the best to my scenes and the movies I produce, the adult industry is extremely rewarding.”
Steele’s appearance on BET comes on the heels of his recently-shot guest
appearances on Showtime’s Weeds. His mainstream production arm, Mercenary
Entertainment, also completed two pilots, Lexington Steele Live, a talk
show, and an as-yet-untitled reality program.
