WESTLAKE, Ohio — A former Playboy playmate has been posing for more mug shots than pictorials of late.
Jennifer Jackson, 38, and James Thompson, 52, both of Westlake, were charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication Monday after allegedly taunting a neighbor in their Center Ridge Road trailer park, Westlake police Capt. Guy Turner said.
Jackson, who was Playboy’s Miss April 1989, and Thompson were under the influence of alcohol when they came out of their trailers and taunted a neighbor being questioned by Westlake police officers at 6:45 p.m., police said.
The neighbor had alleged that Thompson threatened to punch him for no reason.
“If they would have both stayed in their trailers, there wouldn’t have been a problem,” Turner said.
Although Thompson and Jackson live in separate trailers, Thompson told police that they recently wed. They were released on personal bonds Monday night.
In 2005, Westlake police charged Jackson with receiving stolen property, but the charge was dismissed when the victim failed to show up in court.
More recently, Oberlin police picked her up June 30 after a Murphy USA gas station clerk claimed she stole cigarettes and cigars from the station. In that case, Jackson was charged with petty theft, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container in a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
She will appear for a pretrial hearing at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 7 in Oberlin Municipal Court.
