Kentucky- The manager of a Hart County adult book store is behind bars accused of promoting prostitution.

Thirty-nine-year-old David Crumpton of Glasgow is being held in the Hart County Jail.

Crumpton is charged with promoting prostitution, complicity to promote prostitution and not having a permit to operate a place of entertainment.

He’ll be arraigned Aug 21.

Crumpton was arrested Aug. 11 at an adult book store located in what used to be an outlet mall near Exit 58 on I-65.

As part of the investigation two men at the book store were cited to court.

50-year-old Freddie Oakman Jr. of Prattville, Ala. and 36-year-old Jeffery Caraker of McMinnville, Tenn. are accused of prostitution solicitation.
