PULLMAN, Wash. – The porn star accused of raping a Washington State University sorority member says he’s ready to turn himself in to police.

One day after police issued an arrest warrant for his arrest, adult film star and director Christopher Reid, who goes by the name “Jack Venice,” told a Spokane TV station he is preparing to return to Pullman on Wednesday.

Venice not only performs in the adult videos, he directs them for a production company called Frat House Films.

Venice’s distributor would not comment on whether Venice was in Pullman for his amateur college tour, which is described by his distributor as “a state by state tour where they’re going into these college towns and they’re literally going into bars and frat parties and talking to girls about what they want sexually, and these girls are doing it on camera.”

That’s just what some witnesses say Venice was doing the night of the alleged crimes.

What Pullman Police cannot or will not say is if the alleged rape and break-ins are connected to Venice’s porn business, or if the crimes were videotaped. They do say that another suspect already arrested met Venice just hours before the alleged crimes.

As for Venice, his lawyer says the porn star looks forward to clearing his name.

As for the other suspect, a WSU senior, he is under house arrest at his Renton home. He’s expected to be formally charged Wednesday.
