SALEM, OR – To put it mildly, 2007 AVN Best Supporting Actress winner and Wicked Pictures superstar Kirsten Price is causing a commotion. Whether she’s joining her contract superstars at the hottest Hollywood events, guest starring on one of cable television‘s most controversial shows, or gracing the pages of a new hardback book, this svelte beauty really is making new fans and influencing tastemakers daily.

This week, however, she’ll be taking a brief reprieve from Los Angeles’ thirty mile zone to bring some big city glamour to Salem, Oregon’s Stars Cabaret Wednesday and Thursday, November 14th-15th. With everything she has going on, Kirsten couldn’t have picked a better time to visit her Beaver State fans. This weekend saw her joining noted mainstream author/photographer Michael Grecco and fellow Wicked ladies jessica drake and Carmen Hart at Book Soup in Los Angeles, where the group signed copies of Grecco‘s Naked Ambition, a large hardback collection of adult star photo portraits in which the Wicked women are prominently featured.

Speaking of Wicked, not only has Kirsten’s big-budget war blockbuster Coming Home been flying off adult retailers’ shelves nationwide, but the movie’s launch party, a fundraiser hosted by the cast to support American veterans past and present, became a news item as well when thousands of dollars in charitable contributions were raised in just one evening. Ms. Price is also featured in an interview and layout in the December is sue of Cheri magazine.

Things are heating up at an equally frenetic pace in Kirsten’s mainstream career as well, as recent weeks have seen her long-awaited return appearance to Showtime‘s always-controversial Weeds. Entitled The Two Mrs. Scottsons, the surprisingly raunchy episode found Ms. Price stealing the show as she shared screen time with a formidable cast that included Matthew Modine, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Brooke Smith. Like her recent foray into hardback books, her Weeds appearance remains a high watermark in the realm of adult-to-mainstream crossovers.
