WARRENDALE, Pa. — Adult DVD Empire, four-time winner of the AVN Award for Best Retail Website, is excited to announce the launch of the new and improved AdultDVDEmpire.com. Adult DVD Empire’s team has been diligently working on the redesign, which entails a complete overhaul of the backend of the website as well as the outward appearance, for a completely refurbished site. This new look and structure was designed with the ultimate goal of improving usability, speed and function for existing and new customers.
A significant addition to the redesigned Adult DVD Empire is more
prominently placed quick links within the header of the site, such as
Recent Releases, Empire Exclusives, Prebooks, Bargains and more. The most
popular and useful links for each media page are now displayed as text
links at the top of a given page for easy access to popular shopping
destinations on adultdvdempire.com.
One noticeable difference in the new site design is a more graphically
driven approach to navigation on Adult DVD Empire, with an example being
the new Empire Essentials spot on the homepage — an area dedicated to
featuring the hottest ‘must-see’ products. More examples of the shift to
graphical representations are the genre links on the revamped Video On
Demand and Novelty media pages, which both now display image teaser buttons
for each featured VOD and Novelty genre.
Another visual change to the overall design of adultdvdempire.com is
the absence of left side toolbars, which allows for a clean, organized and
easy to navigate website via the complete list drop-down menu of categories
and genres at the top right side of the website.
“We’ve been working on a way to simplify our user interface, while
maintaining the high level of product support and navigation that we have
always taken great pride in providing to our customers,” comments Mike
Barry, Adult DVD Empire Director of Business Development. “We feel that
with our new streamlined website, people will be able to find the products
they’re interested in without being bombarded with unnecessary or unwanted
distractions during the shopping experience.”
