Time travel, prophecies, psychics, reincarnation, catwomen, shape shifters, minions, gratuitous Asian man love scenes and Saki St. Germain.

If Oriental Treatment 3: The Lost Empress, www.xxxdeepthroat.com, xxxdeepthroatenergy.com, didn’t win an award for intricate subplotting, then no porn movie’s deserving. Directed by John T. Bone, this feature was a pretty big one in its day and rated an AVN cover.

While it’s certainly hard to believe, Aja plays a bewildered woman- a graduate student whose haunted dreams suggest that she might be a reincarnated empress.

Legend, at least according to the story told her by Saki St. Germain, has it that she’ll bear a child who will rule a dynasty. Then, again, depending on who’s doing the impregnating, she could bear a child that’s the evil spawn. Jerry Butler with tell-tale dark circles under his eyes is her boyfriend, and Steve Drake is the minion sent to impregnate her with the forces of darkness. Actually the casting should have been the other way around because Butler, truth be told, looks like hell.

Wayne Summers plays a college professor- or at least one you might expect to be carrying a shoulder holster because that’s how Summers generally played his parts.

With some pretty elaborate setups and marvelous costuming and makeup, Aja’s looking pretty damn good in this feature as is the blonde cutie pie Alycin Sterling who was in and out of porn way too quickly. Now where the gratuitous Asian man love scene comes in is anyone’s guess because I don’t remember that being in the original edition.
