Porn Valley- Tuesday night I run into Wankus at Jerry’s Deli in Woodland Hills. Wankus is with Kayme Kai, and speaking of run-ins, Wankus is having a chuckle about the Internet reports claiming how some old lady drove into his house.

On the other hand, Kai, who’s with Foxxx Modeling, has been in the business about four months. Kai, 23, is from Hawaii where she managed her grandparents adult video store on the big island. She did that five years.

“I liked all the gonzo stuff,” she says. “Zero Tolerance, Third Degree, that type of stuff because it’s straight to the point.”

Her grandparents have owned that store for around 15 years, and Kai knew sooner or later she’d be working there.

“Instead of going to college I decided to stay, help them out and manage things.”

In one sense her family may have been disappointed that she didn’t further her education. In another sense, because she started young counting inventory for the store, Kai says it was a perfect match for her to stick around and handle the business end of things.

Asked what she was like growing up, Kai also gets straight to the point.

“I was a whore,” she laughs. Her first sexual experience was at the age of 10 when she gave a 12 year old kid a handjob on a bus.

“I grew up as someone who was always open,” she explains. “My grandparents had that store so sex was always talked about openly. I was on a bus going to the other side of the island. It was for a canoe paddling tournament and I was sitting next to a guy that I just thought was cute. We went to school together and I had a crush on him. It was cold so we were sharing a big towel that was over us. I had never seen a penis so I wanted to see one up close and personal. Kai’s grandmother, in fact, told her that she wanted to see her picture on the wall of the bookstore. Her picture’s now on the wall.

“As soon as I landed here, I was picked up by Amber Peach,” Kai continues.

“She gave me this long speech about all the pros and cons of the business during that hours drive from the airport. Then I met all the agents at Foxxx and that made me very comfortable. That night I met Wankus for the first time. We went to dinner with him and taped something for his show, Xtreme Xrossover (mainstream comedy show).

“I just had fun the first night and for the next couple of days it was getting into the business. I like the business.”

Being new, Kai said some people have tried taking advantage of her.

“I’ve been going on go-sees and would have people saying if you want to get hired, this is what you have to do, suck my dick. Things like that. Very forward. These are directors saying that, mostly.

“I think it was good that I waited a little while to mature,” she adds.

I asked Kai how she would gracefully dodge the bullet during those go-sees.

“My biggest thing is I tell them maybe you should hire me and then I’ll show you how I perform,” she answers. “That has worked four out of five times. I’ve said that to directors who’ve approached me and have been hired.”

“How about that fifth time?” I ask.

“They never hired me but that was fine,” she adds. “But I haven’t had to sell out. I tell them if you want to see my work, hire me and give me a chance. I think it’s working.”

On another of those go-sees, Kai was nudged by Wankus to tell a story to tell about TT Boy.

“We went to his office, and he asked me to stand in front of him, strip down naked and sit on his desk,” she recalls. “Then he asked me to put my leg up on his desk so he could inspect my pussy. I was nervous.”

“Did he have a little flash light?” I ask.

Asked how people would know where to send this stuff to, Kai says this is what shocked her.

“I still don’t know who gave out my address,” she says. “But it’s such a small town and very closed minded. So I’m sure that someone who doesn’t like me very much would give it out. But the serious thing is, I was hanging out at my home when somebody actually rang my doorbell. I opened the door and he goes, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe it’s Kayme Kai, that you live here. I heard you were back in Hawaii – can I get an autograph?’ I had to deal with that.”

So far Kai has done maybe 20 scenes. She mentions that she’ll be in town for Thanksgiving.

“What do they eat in Hawaii for Thanksgiving?” she’s asked.

“Like everywhere else- turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing,” Kai says.

“I thought maybe they’d have a Luau.”

“Sometimes,” she answers.
