LOS ANGELES- ‹Marco Banderas, critically acclaimed male adult actor and fan favorite, was nominated for his prowess as a performer and skill as a
director for the upcoming AVN Awards.

Banderas’ outstanding overall body of work in front of the camera garnered
him a shot at Male Performer of the Year, with an additional three
nominations for Best Group Sex Scene, Video for Third Degree Films’
“DreamGirlz,” Digital Playground’s “Naked Aces 2” and Harmony Films’
“Naomi¹s Fuck Me.” His contributions to “Nina Hartley¹s Guide to Porn Star
Sex Secrets” from Adam & Eve Pictures and Mercenary Pictures’ “Top Guns 6”
were also recognized by AVN for the Best Anal Sex Scene and Best Threeway
Sex Scene categories, respectively.

His work as a director also snagged “Culos Gigantes 2,” his title for
Mercenary Pictures, a Best Ethnic-Themed Release, Latin nom.

“I’m very ecstatic that my work over the past year is appreciated by the
critics at AVN,” he said. “I’ve done some excellent scenes but I’m
overwhelmed by the Male Performer of the Year nomination and that my work as
a director for ‘Culos Gigantes 2′ put it on the short list for Best
Ethnic-Themed Release, Latin.”

Banderas added that he plans to continue performing, as well as expanding
his role as a director with Mercenary Pictures and Hot Zone, his production
company.

The AVN Awards Show will be held on Jan 12, 2007 at the Mandalay Bay Events
Center in Las Vegas.
