The Jennfer James Facade Party: Did Eddie Get Away with a Bunch of Money?

Porn Valley- On Halloween, director Jennifer James and business partner Suzie Olson came on my KSEX show to promote a party they were having that weekend www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=25055.

According to James, the party which was held in Hollywood at Facade, went off pretty much without a hitch. Except when it came time to divvy up the proceeds. James said she was promised anywhere from $4,000 to $10,000 as her share for staging the event. One of the promoters of the event was Eddie Lopez.

When James mentions Lopez I’m going, I’ve heard this name before.

As it turns out, Lopez was the promoter caught in the middle of allegations made by Kayla Quinn Thanksgiving of last year www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=20168, when Lopez supposedly held Quinn and her friends at his Hacienda Heights pad against their will. Lopez claims no one was held against their will.

Another story going around, now, involving Lopez is that at a party following Adultcon, porn performer Savanna Jane supposedly had her drink spiked with GHB.

I talked to AI News’, www.ainews.com, Steve Nelson about that story. According to Nelson, Olivia O’Lovely was in the limo with Jane when Jane got GHB’d. But Jane isn’t exactly sure where the drug came from.

“There’s no incriminating evidence,” says Nelson. “Savanna says that Eddie brought half a bottle of Hennessy and said take a shot of this and pleaded with her to take it. That’s where she took a shot and that’s where she deduces she was GHB’d.”

“This was at Facade the night after Adultcon,” says Nelson. “This is what Savanna says that the partial bottle of Hennessy that Eddie brought was most likely where she got GHB’d. When it comes right down to it, you really don’t know.”

“There’s no smoking gun in anyone’s hand,” contends Nelson. “Olivia O’Lovely saw the whole thing.”

When I mention the Thanksgiving party to Nelson, Nelson said he talked to a couple of people who were there,

“I talked to Chris Rock who was there and he said it seemed like Eddie was trying to hit on Kayla and she was, like, I don’t think that’s going to happen. So there’s a lot of truth in that. Eddie is supect but there’s no proof, and I have to give him benefit of the doubt.”

Nelson said he also heard that another one of the girls had to give someone a handjob in order to get home.

James in her story then explains more about what happened the night of November 3 between her and Lopez. Along with Lopez who was one of the promoters of the event, there was another promoter Roman Sanchez, who worked for Facade. But since that event Sanchez has been fired. A third promoter named Louie LaPaz was also involved.

“Louie may be completely innocent and Roman may be completely innocent,” states James. “Truth of the matter, the only one we know for sure who was dirty is Eddie. Everyone’s accusing everyone else so it’s kind of hard to tell.”

James says the money promised at the end of the night was to offset money James and Olson put up to throw the party- which was $2,000. When it came time to square things at the end of the evening, Lopez and company had already split.

“They bolted,” muses Olson. “At the end of the night when they were cleaning up, the club manager approached us. I said we really need to settle things up. He was, like, everything’s taken care of. I go what do you mean? It’s not taken care of.”

“He goes, Roman Sanchez. I go who the hell is Roman Sanchez? Our party promoter is Eddie Lopez. The manager goes, oh no. Roman Sanchez is the club party promoter. I go how come we never met him? It’s our party, obviously.”

Olson says Sanchez was someone they didn’t even know existed until all of this went down.

“To this day he can hit us over the head, and Jen and I wouldn’t know who this guy looks like,” says Olson.

“We never met Roman and we never met Louis LaPaz,” James adds.

“It’s amazing that this guy [Sanchez] was in charge of the facility and doesn’t meet the two women who are throwing this party?” asks Olson.

“All we know for sure is that Eddie was dishonest,” contends James. “And somebody got away with a bunch of money.”

The only problem about the party itself, according to James, was the fact that her investor Richard Rehn couldn’t get some of his own party in including some representatives from Topco.

“And some other details weren’t taken care of which is unfortunate,” James goes on to say.

“It was Eddie’s responsibility and we paid him to take care of that,” says Olson.

“Otherwise the porn press loved it, and nobody complained,” states James. “We ran a good party on the VIP floor.”

James said Lopez, who had also been living at her place, took off.

“And I took the opportunity to make sure he did not return to my apartment. I made it clear to him that that was it. He had needed a place to stay. He told me that his house had burned to the ground.”

Lopez, says James, had been living at her place a month. James lives on the beach at Marina Del Rey. On top of that, Lopez skipped without paying the rent, according to James. And James is claiming that Lopez also stole money from her on top of that.

“There was a check [for $1200] taken out of my check book and only three people had access to the room [James, Olson and Lopez]. And he was the one who had the most access,” says James.

“There are people who didn’t want to go on camera, but they said he had a long history of forged checks and had to depart from previous places he had been associated with.”

“And he stole Jen’s jewelry and some other personal items,” Olson also claims.

James said the only contact she’s had from Lopez since was a text message.

“He said he wanted to make things right and was offering this party arrangement I wasn’t interested in,” James adds. “Then when I didn’t respond back quick enough he sent me a text message back threatening me telling me he had at least four companies- some of them very close to me- that were just waiting to come out with a story against me.”

“Whatever horrible things that have been said about me have already been said.”

What I find interesting about the whole sordid mess is James’ contention that Lopez is operating from a high horse.

“It’s amazing, actually,” says James.

“And he [Lopez] hates me,” adds Olson. “Because I get in his face any time I possibly can. I didn’t like him from the get-go. Jen and I just don’t want this happening to anyone else. And Roman is an asshole, too. He won’t return any of our calls. Yet he was the party promoter.”

James says she later learned from the club owner of Facade that Sanchez gave the money in question to Lopez and that this was a problem between Eddie, James and Olson.

“As far as we know he may be telling the truth,” says James. “And we spoke to someone who was a friend of Louie LaPaz’s and Louie’s claiming he never got any money, that Eddie burned him, too. I don’t know who to believe now, but I do know for a fact that Eddie was dirty. I just don’t know about the other two. But I do know people that know Louie. They say they trust him completely.

“It may be that Eddie burned everybody.”

“I would certainly love for Roman to return my phone calls,” adds Olson.

“If he’s a reputable business man he has no reason not to talk to me. But he won’t talk to me, and that tells me a lot. This is bullshit. If he was half a man he wouldn’t have any problem talking to me. There’s a lot of shady stuff going down, and I’m really tired and want to get to the bottom of it.”

James claims there are other people who’ve been burnt by Lopez that are afraid to talk publicly.

“But I don’t have problem being the fall guy,” chimes in Olson. “We want the word to go out that these guys are bad news. A party promoter who won’t even return a phone call? And it was our party? Roman was the promoter for the club and Eddie never even told us about Roman.”

In all of this, James said Facade is trying to make things right.

“They’ve been very good in working with us,” says Olson. “Jen and I have an excellent rapport and relationship with the club manager. We don’t have an axe to grind with the club, and they feel really bad that this happened to us.”
