Morgan Ray [pictured] is saying she never got paid $1600 to work for Roy Garcia. Without mentioning her name, Mike South posted on his website [and picked up by www.xxxporntalk.com] that Garcia allegedly owed someone money and brought Playboy’s name into it. [South eventually took down the original posting.]
Roy Garcia Saturday sent the following e-mail to Mike South: “The Playboy Envelope which the checks came in the day before the cashier’s checks were writen and sent. I pay same day wire or Fed Ex – THE DAY THAT THE CHECKS CLEAR!!! What’s up now? Your apology? Or should I continue with my lawyers? You know now that what you printed was wrong. Take it down imediately.”
a second e-mail sent by Gacia to South: “Shy love told me that I HAD TO pay her agency directly in a wire transfer not directly to the talent. I paid Shy in 2 installments, one on or around November 11, 2007 and one 3 days ago that you got.
Talk to the “Licensed and bonded” Shy Love that demanded that we pay
her directly for Morgan Ray’s shoots.”
Gene sez: Although this didn’t start out being my story, Garcia calls me Saturday morning. We had the following conversation:
“This is false accusations,” states Garcia. “I did pay them. I sent Mike South all the informaion including the invoice; I sent him the stuff I paid Shy Love. Shy Love insisted we pay her and not the talent which I never do. But she said she was licensed and bonded. I thought everything was cool. Then I get this fucking shit Saturday morning that I didn’t pay anybody.
“Well you need to talk to Shy Love about that, not me,” Garcia continues. “This story is all false. I pay everybody.”
According to Garcia, when he contacted South he was told that this story was all about Morgan Ray.
“I said Morgan Ray- what are you talking about? She’s been paid. Look, here’s the cashiers check [made out to Love’s agency] that I paid Shy Love. Here’s the invoice where Shy Love said she got the money. Morgan Ray has been paid. The problem is, Shy Love didn’t pay her. And Shy Love won’t pick up her phone. And Shy Love received the check.”
Garcia says he made out the check Thursday. Which is interesting because on Tuesday, South already posted this message to Garcia on his site:
“If You read this Roy, email me. If anyone knoes Roy’s email addy or contact info I’d appreciate it
I had it ages ago but can’t find it. Thanks”
“I don’t read Mike South’s fucking website,” says Garcia. “I never heard of this until just now. I work. I don’t have time to sit around and gossip on gossip sites.”
“My lawyer will handle all of this,” Garcia goes on to say. “I’ve proven everything false that Mike South has said. If he’s printing this any more and doesn’t take it down immediately then he knows that it’s fake. He knows that it’s wrong and it’s slander. Just like the Luke Ford case where he knew that that girl [Christi Lake] was not fucking a dog. And he printed it anyway. Blatantly knowing it was a fake and they sued him for $25,000 and won.
“Mike South knows that I paid Shy Love. Shy Love knows that I paid her. Shy Love did not pay Morgan Ray. That has nothing to do with me. If she doesn’t pay the talent that’s between her and the talent. Not me.”
“This was payroll 30 days later but you start crying the day after the shoot,” Garcia continues. “You start crying the day after the shoot needing to get paid right now then maybe Shy Love should book more jobs than just one a month.”
